A central location in the town with parking.
The room.was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly.
There was no breakfast available, but not a big deal as there were a couple of nice cafes 100 yards away.
Nothing to dislike.
Really good value hotel, much better than we expected for the price. Rooms were comfortable and the food was good without breaking the Credit Card! Staff were helpful. We went to watch Bury v Alfreton in the Northern Premier League and Bury won that in the 90th minute so great weekend all round!!
I can see the stairs being an issue for some people, particularly those carrying luggage, and people should be aware that breakfast is no longer served. Plenty of nearby alternatives though

Easy to find and parking is not a problem.
It is a very noisy location just outside a busy junction and also above a pub, you will not be getting a good nights sleep.
They don't serve breakfast but there are cafes nearby you can grab something to eat.
Friendly staff on arrival. Room had everything needed and was clean and comfortable. Thank you for putting double duvet on the single bed ! Double glazing cut the traffic noise. Very cheap car park next door.
Breakfast was not available but refund offered - I could tell the lady on reception gave a sincere apology. This wasn’t a problem as I went across to Morrisons for breakfast
Where the pub was situated.
The different levels of the downstairs pub, step catch you out.
Leaving, paid for 2 nights left after one.
Small room, which was up 3 flights of stairs, bathroom not very clean, outside loud music playing until 3am, got zero sleep. The whole place is really poor.
I won't be stopping again.
Location was ideal for my purposes.
Restaurant food was served quickly.
Room had all the emenities required.
Bed mattress was a little hard for my liking.
Bathroom needed a little bit of TLC, few bits of peeling paint, towel rail needing tightening.
It's an old building with single pane windows next to a busy main road, thankfully extra panels have been fitted in the bedroom to minimise the traffic noise.
The location is nice and central.
The hotel is essentially situated in the middle of a roundabout, and its impossible to escape traffic noise. On-site parking is limited to only 4 spaces, there was no b'fast available as still advertised, and the lady on reception was most offhand. The other staff were fine and the cleaners were particularly helpful.
