One thing good about is pickup and drop off at airport !
Everything else were bad !
It does not matter the price. Avoid this Hotel. Is dirty, unorganized, nobody speak English, there is no heat and the rooms are extremely cold, the wall paper in my room was all ripped and the night table was broken and the drawer was hanging out. They use squat and they not provide toilet paper. I was so disgusted I decided to go back to the Kunming airport and spend the night there. The worst Hotel ever...if I can call it Hotel.
Listed as an “airport hotel” it’s nowhere near the airport. They didn’t answer the phones and their address was listed incorrectly. The taxi driver tried to find it for over an hour and ended up taking me back to the airport to get a different hotel.
ホテルの場所がわかりにくい。探すのに苦労した。主要な道から外れている。奥まったところ、路地裏のようなところにある。看板が見えない。車で、何度も何度も行ったり来たりした。
Friendly staff. No English spoken so be prepared with a translation device if you don't speak Mandarin.
Very old and poorly kept hotel. I would never go there again.
I have paid for the breakfast, but there was no breakfast.
They go and bang on your door 30 minutes before the shuttle to the airport leaves so we heard banging several times through the night. Beds rock hard and room cold.
Terrible experience. The worst place i been in my experiences traveling. The Beautiful China , I dont thing they fallow any regulations i will not even concidee Hotel. So sad to see places like that .
We were almost sure we were at the wrong place. This hotel is down a really seedy side street at least 5 or 6 km from the airport. The information that it is .2mi from the airport is just inaccurate. We did get the airport "shuttle", which was an unmarked van that was filled with chain smoking people and extra benches to accommodate more passengers than should be allowed.
The check-in staff was screaming at another guest when we arrived. We had to endure that for about 15 minutes before we got checked in.
Note: the room was unheated. It was January 1st. It was freezing.
this hotel Expedia should not list , very smell and bathroom, and smell smoking in the bedroom dirty broken blanket, we only need a place to lay down, for a few hours . but would not never go back again , not even free.
Can't say any good thing about this hotel. Breakfast I was unable to get a ride from airport. Rooms were uncomfortable and cold.
Pay no attention to the negative reviews. The staff at this hotel go out of there way to make it as comfortable as possible. All necessities are provided, including an electric blanket which guarantees a warm night. Yes, it is out of the way and hard to find, but very close to the airport and they will bring you there for free in a very modern and comfortable minibus. The location is in an area of excellent craft shops and restaurants. Your taxi driver might have trouble finding the hotel (not unusual in big Chinese cities), but just give him the hotel phone number and they will send out the minibus to meet you. What more can you reasonably expect for such a low price?
I booked this hotel because we had a 13 hour layover in Kunming and wanted somewhere nearby to stay. According to google maps and expedia, the hotel was located right in front of the airport. Unfortunately, it turned out the hotel was a 10 minute shuttle drive from the airport in a really rundown alley. The only redeeming quality was the lady who checked us in was very pleasant to work with despite the language barrier.
The hotel was terrible, very dirty. The staff did not speak English and were not helpful at all. The room was extremely cold and damp, and the bed was humid. The toilet was not particularly clean nor were the towels. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
5 km from the airport ( not 1 km ), really shaddy place, dirty, no running water in the toilet, smelly room, very noise all night long
Horrible location, hard to find. Hotel itself is shabby and not recommended.
We booked the hotel from expedia.ca with breakfast included (prices with and without breakfasts are different) and the hotel told us that they never provided breakfast. The room also had a strong smoke smell.
This hotel is situated in a small alley in a residential area. The hotel rooms have the traditional Chinese style squat in ground toilet on the shower floor. For travelers who are used to the Western style rooms, this is not a comfortable place to stay. This appears to be a family owned hotel and the front desk is manned by the family. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. The airport shuttle driver that took me from the airport to the facility late in the evening should learn to drive more carefully. The airport shuttle van is dangerous. It has makeshift wooden bench for seats.
If you don't speak some Mandarin Chinese, don't stay here. I speak enough to get by. No English is spoken here. By all means, bring your hotel itinerary. When I said 'Expedia', staff had no idea what I meant. After I showed them my itinerary, they asked for me to pay for the room. I had to say in Chinese that I already paid for it. And the room was as basic as you can get. The worst part, the room had a Chinese squat toilet, which are common in Kunming, No bottled water or toilet paper was furnished. But the room had a box of kleenex. It was noisy. Inbound airplanes landing at Kunming airport flew by my room all night. Besides that, dogs barked and people inside and outside the hotel made noise. Maybe a room on the other side of the hotel would have been more quiet. The hotel has no AC or elevator. But there was hot water, and the hotel van dropped me off on time at the airport. That's worth something.
