I will definitely recommend Areca Hotel!! I really enjoyed my stay here
Pros:

Location, heritage house, spacious room, friendly staff and good air-conditioning

Cons:

The locations of sockets (some of them are located too high while some of them are located too low)
It would be better if there are shampoo, conditioner and body wash, separate, instead of only one bottle of 3 in 1.

Pros:

A beautiful renovation of an old Heritage building. Conveniently located for exploring. Staff provided a warm welcome, and were attentive and helpful. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea were tasty.

Excellent value for a great Heritage stay!
Pros:

The Areca Hotel was a fabulous heritage hotel in Georgetown. Within walking distance of Armenian Street, 5 mins to a 7Eleven for ATM and food items.
Breakfast was very expansive and the included afternoon tea was a bonus!

Definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Location was superb in old town. Quite a majestic old lady with lovely calming and cool foyer.
Room compact as was ensuite but very usable (I would book larger room next time). Great value for money and very convenient location.
Complimentary afternoon tea a definite bonus!

Cons:

A little dated but the price reflected that. We like hotels that are fitting with the location (ie not fancy modern).
