Cons:

This is more of a research I could have spent more time doing but being on the main road through Sanur with such terrible footpaths made going for a walk challenging. Not really anything to do with the property itself

Great relaxing stay, good breakfast friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Big clean rooms, comfy clean bed, with toiletries etc. Hotel is on a main busy road but we didn't hear any of the outside traffic. Got free parking for our bike. Staff quick to rectifying issue with TV that we had and issue with toilet flush all sorted with no other issues. Very friendly.
Breakfast buffet was very good nice clean dinining area and staff are very helpful making sure our vegetarian options were catered for and refilled. We enjoyed the Asian breakfast very much. Lots of fresh fruit and pastries too.

Cons:

The white towels were a bit old and grey looking but clean. Our room didn't include a back balcony so you may have to pay extra for that, but we didn't really need it and the hotel has lots of different areas in the lobbies to chill and most of the time you are out and about anyway. Location could be a little difficult if we weren't on a bike so easy with it. I think there is a beach shuttle we didn't need to use it.

Lovely hotel, well maintained just not for me
Pros:

Nice room, clean and comfortable, good breakfast and pool, daily housekeeping

Cons:

My problem when booking I did not read properly and booked room with no balcony or opening window which is something I can’t deal with. Staff were great and changed my room

Grand Palace Sanur Exprience
Pros:

The hotel staffs were really helpful and kind.
The room was quiet and bed was comfortable.
I love the crafting of Balinese offering on Nyepi day. Very thoughtful and also allowed me to learn more about the culture. Food and breakfast buffet was generally good and several options for vegetarians.

Cons:

I wish the linens and bedsheets were unscented. Tried the spa services during Nyepi but was quite disappointed as the entire 60 mins facial didn’t feel like it was worth it and was done quite half heartedly. That’s the only regret I have during this stay.

Pros:

This is a fabulous place to stay in Sanur. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms and gardens are impeccable. The breakfast has all tastes covered from European to British to North American to Asian. It’s all there. The pool is sparkling clean and there is both bar and food service available. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Cons:

The property is a bit of a walk from all the action down at the beach.
