The room was very spacious, clean, and modern. I appreciated being upgraded to a family suite. Having 2 entrances to the room was helpful too. The clock radio with the sound machine was helpful to drown out the noise from the neighboring bars!
Not enough sink space on the countertop and the sink was a bit too high for children to reach. The bed mattresses were not comfortable.
Staff was great. Place is a little run down but would stay there again. Nice family run business.
The beds were super comfortable. The room was spacious and the shower was easy to operate and get in and out of
We didn’t have that much of a view from our room but the park was right across the street. We had a microwave and refrigerator but no utensils for eating. These are minor issues.

Honestly after reading the reviews I was not optimistic but everything was great Except they had plastic mattress covers that made you hot and were loud.
Close to everything downtown has to offer, it was a little hard getting all our luggage up the steps but not a deal breaker.
-Wasn't informed that the pool they allow you to use doesn't allow children on Friday's & Saturday's.
-They should note that it is not a good family-friendly location if you have children because there will be loud music/partying all night behind the hotel.
- Our room was musty/wet.
- They didn't have any wash cloths first night of our stay.
Very just average room.
It was good enough for a 1 night stay.
There is no parking at the property which I knew but when I asked where I could park I was tolded incorrectly and my car was towed the night before I left. Do not park at the monument.
The hotel itself was nice and accommodating. My issue is obly with hotels.com some reason did not give then our handicapped requirement and i reserved a ground floor handicapped accommodating room. The hotel doesnt have an elevator and i have a person using a walker climbing stiars because of this
Can't ask for a better location. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a great time.
