Pros:

Beautiful property, lovely grounds, and very welcoming hosts.
Our room was fine, with a nice modern bathroom, and lovely views over the grounds.
The heated swimming pool is a good size, and peacefully located in the grounds.
It's a ten minute walk to the local village, where there is a bar, a small supermarket, and a boulangerie...
It's a 15 min drive to the Loire river, and 20 mins to Saumur, so nicely located to explore the region.
A cold platter selection is available in the evenings, well worth considering if you'd like to enjoy a quiet sunset, rather than drive to a restaurant
A lovely three night stay, and we hope to revisit sometime soon 😊

Un joli lieu que l on aimerait garder secret, pour soi.

Très bel endroit de caractère dans un esprit chasse, avec un joli parc et piscine chauffée
Chambre spacieuse et literie 180 très confortable
Assiette dînatoire ou planche gourmande variée, travaillée et savoureuse
Hôtes très accueillants et professionnels

Cons:

La proximité sonore de la route pour la piscine, mais il ne s agit pas d une route avec beaucoup de passage

Pros:

Soms kom je op een plek waar echt alles klopt. Gastvrijheid, warmte en zorg, het heeft ons echt aan niets ontbroken. De omgeving is prachtig, maar het chateau was een heerlijk rustige uitvalsbasis en met tips van John gingen we op pad. We komen zeker terug!

An unique chateau experience in the countryside
Pros:

John was great host and help us with planning our stay. The building is full of character and the grounds are large and natural.

Cons:

Limited food option and remote from facilities but John was happy to provide indoor space for evening picnic ( it was unexpectedly cold when we visited)

Je vous recommande ce chateau.
Pros:

Super acceuil de Jhon, il vous explique tous et vous mets a l'aise pour vous sentir comme chez vous. Le cadre arboré est agréable et reposant , la piscine est très appréciable. Tres belle étape.

Cons:

Il manque des restaurants a proximité.

Beautiful château, good location and excellent facilities and service
Pros:

Beautiful château with a huge park in a very quiet but easily-accessible location. Very big room with comfortable bed and good shower. The apèro plate with local products and excellent wine from the region was just what we needed after a long drive. Very good breakfast in the morning. Thanks to John and his family for such a pleasant stay!

Our overnight stay was thoroughly enjoyed and we will visit again.
Pros:

We had stayed here before but since our previous visit there was a death in the family which limited the dinner option. However, we enjoyed the most amazing plate of cold meats and cheeses and the breakfast buffet table was truly a feast to behold. The young son of the owner is an excellent host.
