Prachtige chateau en tuin, zeer vriendelijke gastheer en uitgebreid ontbijt.
Le cadre et le décor très cosy, de bon goût et avec simplicité. C'est très rare de trouver cet ambiance et cet environnement authentiques.

Nothing really. If Anything, the charm of the rooms in an old chateau kan mean that during a heatwave (like we had) can get rather warm, but a fan an wet towels go a long way.

Die Lage war top. John und seine Mutter waren gute Gastgeber, wir haben es genossen in so einem Haus zu übernachten. Der Pool zur Abkühlung war perfekt.

Beautiful property, lovely grounds, and very welcoming hosts.
Our room was fine, with a nice modern bathroom, and lovely views over the grounds.
The heated swimming pool is a good size, and peacefully located in the grounds.
It's a ten minute walk to the local village, where there is a bar, a small supermarket, and a boulangerie...
It's a 15 min drive to the Loire river, and 20 mins to Saumur, so nicely located to explore the region.
A cold platter selection is available in the evenings, well worth considering if you'd like to enjoy a quiet sunset, rather than drive to a restaurant

Soms kom je op een plek waar echt alles klopt. Gastvrijheid, warmte en zorg, het heeft ons echt aan niets ontbroken. De omgeving is prachtig, maar het chateau was een heerlijk rustige uitvalsbasis en met tips van John gingen we op pad. We komen zeker terug!
