Enchanted vacation at Scots Hotel, Jerusalem
Pros:

The hotel (owned by the Scottish church) is magnificent and resembles a castle. Driving up to the parking area (free!) you pass by lovely flowers and a well-groomed garden.
Our room was on the main floor, and so we had no issues with the hotel not having an elevator.
It was quiet, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated.
The vegetarian breakfast buffet was delicious. Many salads, tuna, avocado , shakshuka, scrambled eggs, fresh veggies, bread, rolls, cheeses, butter....carrot cake, halva, coffee, tea, juices....and more.
Tony from reception is a real gentleman and made us feel very comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The positives clearly outweighed the negative...
The bed was a bit too firm for me. My husband was comfy.
The shower was without a shower curtain or a glass enclosure. My understanding is that only rooms on the ground floor are without.

Perfect location, beautiful building, lovely staff, great breakfast:)!
Pros:

One of the most beautiful buildings in Jerusalem:)! Location is just perfect, second to none. Views of the Old City in one direction, very easy access to best locations in the west of the city, and very good restaurants very close by. Great breakfast. Very helpful, lovely staff.

Cons:

It would have been great if the restaurant was open for lunch and supper, but I understand that tourism is at a low right now.

מיקום נהדר. נוף להר ציון ולעיר העתיקה. מבנה היסטורי יפה ומיוחד. קרוב למתחם התחנה הראשונה, גן הפעמון, ימין משה ועמק רפאים - המושבה הגרמנית. יש חניה קטנה במקום. צוות נחמד. בכריסטמס המלון מקושט ומואר והאווירה נהדרת.

Cons:

אין מעלית כך שאין נגישות. כשהמלון מלא תיתכן בעיית חניה. החדר מחומם במזגן שלא מתאים לקור הירושלמי. חדר קטן יחסית וככה גם המקלחת.
