Good hotel with good location although room is smaller than expected. Overall is satisfied.

Booked the splendid specifically for the pool and spa at the end of a month travelling.
The pool doesnt exist advised due to renovation but its still shown in the pictures, the spa is now claimed as a pool but with freezing water, dirty and certainly cant swim.
Hotel has absolutely no soundproofing you hear everything. They moved our room after 1st night to a quieter room which was an improvement on exterior noise but you still hear all interior noises.
General state is poor, stains, broken shower head, i wont do a full list but it goes on..apart from reception area which is nice.
Breakfast mediocre.
Not 4 star, by any European standards for sure. Sadly we ended our month trip at our worst hotel of the entire trip.

Very nice hotel located close to the pulsary old town. The rooms are sizable and fully equipped with all necesseties.
Staff is very friendly and supportive. They assisted us in organizing trips to other sights in northern Vietnam. All went very well and was perfectly managed.
We can highly recommend this team.
Nice breakfast buffet covering all needs. The vegetarians in our group were all happy.

The rooms were clean and the staff was amazing. Located in a nice area, walking distances to most good restaurants. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hanoi.

I booked by hotel . Com and it was a four star hotel !
It’s very well located with great staff especially reception and bellboys who are more than helpful !
Unfortunately I booked it for gym and pool ! Pool is not heated and Hanoi was freezing at 13 c and gym is three treadmills !
I think it needs to be put in by hotels com !
I liked the breakfast and staff tried utmost to get me duck breast as rest of meat was pork and beef !
They have a good selection in food !
First room on first floor was very noisy but sizeable and I was changed next day as I couldn’t sleep to another smaller room with enough space to stand only but it had a fridge kettle coffee water all free and the shower head is great !
Location is even better
But it’s a three star hotel not four star and I think that needs to be clarified by

Dong, Anna, Kate is great team. They do very good Ha Long Bay tour, Incense Village, flight ticket, ... are excellent. The room is excellent too abd would come to stay again so many many many time

Slight mishap with the hot water supply on one night but the hotel was very apologetic about the inconvenience and we got a small gift when we checked out.
Breakfast spread was excellent - changes every day too so nothing gets boring.

The location of this hotel was perfect, being located within Old Quarter meant walking distance to many markets, food options, etc but still being far enough out to avoid a noisy sleep. Jacky & the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful recommending day tours to Ha Long Bay and other amazing acitivities! Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here.

Amazing service, staff is incredible

Great location but there was construction going on while we were there so lots of banging. We had to stay in 2 different rooms and both had horrendous shower drainage - water everywhere. Water pressure also wasn’t the best and they didn’t provide refillable water for drinking… so constantly on the hunt for big bottles.

Fantastic, friendly staff and Manager Jacky really went above and beyond to ensure our party of 6 were taken care of

Overall would recommend Splendid Premium Hotel for the quality customer service, the great location, and the solid breakfast. Everyone we encountered from the reception staff to the room cleaners have been incredibly helpful and hard working. The towels were lush and comfortable, beds clean. That said, I think our room (206) was a little sad - it’s a room without a window and no decor, you could see some general wear, and the floors, tub, and toilet could have used some attention to detail - all acceptable, but could have been cleaner. Maybe the other rooms are better. All that said, we would recommend for quality customer service and location alone, with a small heads up to have measured expectations of a hotel with some wear and tear that could use some updating.

I would definitely recommend staying here! It is conveniently located right in the old quarter. Easy for walking around & sight seeing. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Everything from picking us up from the airport to looking after any tours we wanted to go on, all for a reasonable price. The room was a very nice size with a super comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was good & had a lot of options. 2 thumbs up! You wont be disappointed if you stay here.

The rooms are a bit small. But, the staff provided impeccable friendly service that is beyond normal staff. The staff all seemed to be interested in you as a person not a one.time fly-by- night traveler. The only complaint I have is the top Administration who you don’t meet miss calculated room charges and double it, but did not change it. But however, I stayed more nights and did not pay at least I don’t think I was charged.
