Loved it...perfect honeymoon spot
Pros:

Booked this as a married get away for a few days. We have had lunch here and the food was amazing. When we arrived, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We had a drink then went into the hot spa. How enjoyable...was a first for us. So different than hot tub. Nice and toasty warm sitting outside looking at the sky. What an amazing experience. The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice touch.

Not a Five Star Hotel
Pros:

This hotel is not a “Five Star Hotel” and I have no idea why they advertise as such. The decor hasn’t been updated since at least the 80’s. Dark elevator/dark decor in the rooms and outdated furniture everywhere. Weird “hot springs (?) which as it turns out is a “hot tub” that they put a mineral concoction into. Worn out pool furniture. Stay at the Westin instead which apparently was just renovated.

Very nice and helpful staff. We had 3 meals at the hotel, and all were delicious. Gym area is fairly small, but has a great variety of fitness machines and equipment.

Quiet nice horel tucked away. Beautuful big room. Bathroom is huge with a powder station for women. Modern with updated technology like showers and i pad to operate lughts and curtains.

Terrible pillows
Pros:

I booked through Priceline, and while the property is visually stunning and the restaurant was incredible, it definitely doesn’t deserve a 5-star rating. The elevators are so dim you can barely see the buttons, the sheets feel rough, and after being up since 2 a.m. traveling, I was looking forward to a good night’s sleep. Instead, the pillows are so uncomfortable that I’m still awake writing this review, unable to fall asleep. (I'm not looking forward to tomorrow night.) The bidet doesn’t work, the fridge space is taken up by for-purchase items (leaving no room for leftovers), the AC unit is noisy, and the rooms themselves are far too dark.

Come here for the food, not to sleep.

Pros:

This is a very nice hotel. My room was quiet and parking was very easy. Only con is they have a busy restaurant on site and rooftop bar. It could feel congested getting to the elevator. But once on my floor everything was fine

Pros:

My wife and I stayed to go to a concert and the evening didn't quite go as planned, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us. I would highly recommend this property and will be coming back soon.

Not worth it
Pros:

Not accommodating. Jacuzzi tub was broken and they only offered to discount the room $50 for the inconvenience, no other options were offered or an explanation. I’ve stayed here many times, I will not be back.

The Curtiss Hotel is a renovated architectural gem, and a very comfortable place to stay. We had an amazing shower and room amenities, and big comfy bed.

The hotel staff was exceptional. From the front desk to every room attendant, restaurant waiter and the parking guys -- all were friendly and all gave us great service.

(Our room included parking & breakfast. A huge plus.)

I'd definitely stay at the Curtiss again.

Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

This is a truly beautiful hotel and we had a five star experience. The lobby is gorgeous , and the room was well appointed with lots of high tech features. Loved the huge shower with multiple jets, the hot mineral springs was a real treat, and free breakfast and valet parking were a nice added touch that few hotels offer. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. In fact, I realized I had left some clothes behind after we checked out and they sent them to me right away. Highly recommend a stay here if visiting Buffalo.
