Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel St. Josef. The location was perfect—close enough to explore Zürich on foot, yet quiet at night. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.
Everyone who works there was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience.
The breakfast wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed and was absolutely sufficient.

If we return to Zürich, we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

A thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable stay with everything a guest could need.
Pros:

The location was perfect. We could walk to the river and the lake, restaurants and museums. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice- eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, fresh fruits, fancy squares, fresh juices and more!

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. You are all so friendly and so helpful. I’m in a $709/night hotel and I’d so much prefer to be back at the St. Josef with fresh air in the main room and bathroom, with every detail so perfectly thought through and each member is staff just so pleasant and committed to their guests. A superb place to stay when in Zurich!

Great place to stay.
Pros:

I was surprised by this hotel given it is only a 3 star hotel. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful, Maria made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. The room (a single) was well appointed so you were not struggling to move around your luggage. The bathroom was big and modern with a nice big sink which made it easier to wash clothes after a long time living out of a suitcase . No carpet on the floor is a big win as you are not worried about when the carpets were last cleaned.

Short walk to old town and the train station, important to note the hotel is up a small hill if you have mobility issues.

Cons:

The base sheet on the bed, not sure if this is a Swiss thing, I prefer a crisp cotton sheet.

Perfect location for a family of 3
Pros:

Really close to the main part of town and our room was like a loft/one bedroom apartment. Very spacious for me, my husband and our 11 year old son. The staff was so nice. We loved our stay.

Cons:

There’s nothing that we didn’t like.

Very comfortable hotel with exceptional staff.
Pros:

Very comfortable hotel. Nice size room with little sofa. Great towels. Lots of outlets. Staff is extremely nice and helpful, make you feel really homey. Great breakfast with lots of variety. They even have parking, if you come with a car. It's a little on a hill, but 5-10 minutes walk to every thing important and to lots of restaurants.

Cons:

Just a little weird air-conditioning system. The 1st room we stayed had interesting bathroom configuration (see pictures), but the hotel changed our room and the second room was perfect. Highly recommended place.

Pros:

Very comfortable room with lovely breakfast. Staff were really lovely and helpful.

Cons:

Walking to hotel from railway station with suitcases and had a lot of stairs along the street. When got to hotel found could have walked a little further up to a ramp.
