Close to nature
Pros:

Very nice and quiet location, away from traffic and right next to the river. At night you can hear frogs and cicadas.

Cons:

Far away from any means of communication, sometimes it was difficult to get a taxi and had to rely on our host to give us lifts. You can hire a scooter or a bicycle though.

Prachtige tuin langs de rivier, 1 van de mooiste en uitgebreide tempels in de buurt. Fietsen beschikbaar. Heerlijk fris zwembad. De host kwam ons ophalen toen we een platte band hadden, heel vriendelijk.

Cons:

Je hebt vervoer nodig om alles te kunnen bezichtigen. Het eten is oké.

Le jardin est magnifique et si apaisant ! Une perle.
L'hôtel est à proximité immédiate du lac et donne sur la rivière. Tout est si bien aménagé le cadre est idyllique.
Le gérant est adorable , nous a très bien accueilli et nous a donné de très bon conseils.

Geweldig, verzorgd, zorgzaam en met liefde opgezet.
Pros:

De gastvrijheid en de behulpzaamheid van Didie en het personeel!
Didie en zijn vrouw kunnen ook nog eens heel goed koken, genoten van al mijn gerechten!!

Cons:

Niks, alleen met hele kleine kinderen zou ik er zelf niet verblijven.

Charming place.
Little bridges over streams, quirky architecture.
Very nice Swiss owner, a long-time Thailand aficionado who has slowly built the resort up over decades, who knows everything about the area and always has good advice for day trips.
Great location in a very magical part of Thailand.
Lots of water, the river, the channels directing water to the fields, the enormous reservoir upstream. Magically misty in the mornings as the sun comes up over the fields.
Dark skies at night, great to have a drink and ponder the stars.
Loved it.
