Nippon Seinenkan Hotel

Great location to explore Tokyo from.

Everything was great about the hotel. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. However, the stink the the rooms just makes it unrecommendable.

This was my second time staying at Nippon Seinenkan Hotel! Lovely customer service and excellent location. Will visit again!

The hotel is very nice and clean, the staff are accommodating, a convinient currency exchange within the lobby, the room is clean and amenities.

Large spacious single room. Great bed and great sleep. Friendly staff. Lovely location. Would definitely return here if in Tokyo again.

Super quiet neighbourhood and easily accessible to different transit lines. Easy to walk to many tourist areas and restaurants while being separate from city noise. Would recommend!

MOLDY ROOMs. Had to check out early.

When we checked in there was a gross body odor like smell that we requested a room switch for. The other rooms we were offered to switch to had the same smell so we just stayed and hoped it would go away with the fan running and window cracked. It actually got worse over night and we both woke up with headaches and feeling nauseous so we checked out and switch hotels.

The two days since we have had all the symptoms of black mold exposure and that body odor type smell is apparently a major sign of this.

They have humidifiers and warnings of condensation on the windows so this is definitely being caused by excess humidity in the wallpaper. Probably causing black mold.

Be careful, all of the reviews are from the olympics and the facilities have deteriorated significantly since then.

I liked everything except for the fact that there was no working light in the bedroom

We started our Japan trip staying at this hotel, and after a long flight, it was a great start. The rooms are pretty spacious and the location worked well for us. We attended a Yakult Swallows baseball game across the street and was our main reason for selecting this hotel. What was also great was that the hotel was also an easy walkable distance from Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. There's plenty of great shopping and food in walkable distances. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Luggage storage a bonus!

Staff was very friendly and nice. Room was very clean and would recommend booking here for a party of 1 or 2 since the rooms were not humongous.
