We liked the location the food was excellant

Cons:

We had been at a family funeral and arrived back to the hotel at 19:30: we went to change and came back to order food we asked if we could order at 19:49 and were told we were to late even though food was still being brought out and desserts were being ordered we found this unacceptable even though we explained we had been at a family funeral they were totaly not inerested with this being the case we will not stay again and will inform family and friends never to use this hotel

Would be an ok place to stay without the noisy building work directly next door
Pros:

The staff were lovely, breakfast was good. Tried haggis for the 1st time and wasn’t disappointed. Good location, short walk to the town centre and lovely sandy beach.

Cons:

We were put in a room overlooking an active demolition site. Which was unbearable noisy. Despite talking to a member of staff a day prior to arrival, this was not mentioned. And no information on their website. As we had 2 dogs with us we needed to be out of the room from 8am to 5:30pm to escape the noise. We couldn’t keep the window closed as it was so warm. Thus a very stressful couple of days. We sent 2 emails to the hotel and have had no response. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Young staff still undergoing training? At evening meal in the bar area we had our main course then waited 30 minutes after finishing; a young waitress came over and cleared our plates, but didn’t ask if we’d like to another drink or to order desert. We were left sitting there on our own.

Pros:

Staff were very nice..room.was comfortable, was a wee bit smaller than expected, it did have a double bed but because I was a single traveller maybe I got a smaller room....did the job though and the cooked breakfast was lovely and hot...nice touch of a few biscuits in room too

Cons:

Smaller room than expected but not too much of an issue... slight issue with the wi-fi in room..was a bit hit and miss..but just about manageable

El edificio es bonito, pero no hay mucho más positivo que aportar.

Cons:

La limpieza es algo mejorable.
Las habitaciones que dan a la carretera no están muy bien insonorizadas.
La cocina cierra a las 19:45, que es pronto incluso para los estándares de UK.
El desayuno no es especialmente bueno.

Lovely, comfortable stay.
