The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino & Resort

The Hotel is very clean and secure location. The bar is lively and could use free drinks for paying guest. Rooms are very clean and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. The room could use a coffee pod. I know there is a Starburst and Village Italia where coffee is sold but not convenient for guest have to get dress in the morning to go out into the casino lobby or casino for their first cup of coffee.

We enjoy staying there the only thing we have a issue with is the shower not having doors to keep the water flowing on the floor, water was all over the floor from taking one shower to where we had to use all our towels to soke it up

Overall our stay was fine, but a few things were disappointing.
I found the front desk underwhelming - had an issue with a reservation and they were unhelpful and a bit snippy on the phone. Also, a man was bothering women in the lobby and the front desk staff did nothing (he was looking for a room to stay in). As the hotel is connected to the casino, you'd think the front desk would call security to escort him out. Saw him, and heard about him from a couple of women on the elevator and my daughter.
While the room was fine, it was disappointing that there was no coffee maker in the room. I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel that didn't have a coffee maker. I would have also liked some lotion to be available in the room.
It's also an odd entrance to the hotel - you have to go through an inside parking lot.

The hotel rooms are nicely decorated, quiet and clean. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times, always a good experience. The only issue we always have is with the toilet paper holders. They don't hold the toilet paper and it falls off and rolls under the vanity. I know we don't get the same room everytime, I think they need to replace them in every room.

Perfect!! Everyone is always very friendly at the hotel as well as the casino and restaurants. Thanks for another wonderful stay!!

Stayed at rivers landing hotel and casino in Schenectady NY.
Clean quiet, river view room as always. Check in fast and easy ...same goes for key drop off. Christmas eve .. was busier then I thought it would be. Still a great time .. nothing to improve in hotel, .casino had an afternoon band they were fun to watch and listen to.. all in all a great time

I had a great experience at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady. The casino was clean, modern, and well organized, which made it easy to enjoy the night without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. There was a good variety of slot machines and table games, so there was always something to play. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. I also enjoyed the food options, which were convenient and satisfying. Overall, Rivers Casino is a fun, entertaining spot and a great place to relax and enjoy yourself.

The Landing Hotel At Rivers Casino is very clean, the waterfront view room is exceptional. I really enjoyed the warm chocolate cookies during check-in. The staff were courteous and polite. The location is in the center of everything downtown Schenectady, New York.

Room was quite small but clean. One recommendation would be to have ice machines on every floor! Toilet was also very low to the ground.

The room was great and the staff was wonderful as always. I really enjoyed myself and the stay was very relaxing and comfortable.

When I got to the room I had to go find a cleaner to come clean the room . There was a lot of debris including a fingernail on the floor and especially under the couch . This place is always clean but I had the same problem thanksgiving. There was actually a sock under the couch. I don’t go pulling stuff apart, this was all noticeable. In the casino at van slyks the same video poker machines still broken. Staff always nice and Mian was excellent like always

The room was nice, I had a great view of the city. Guess services were great, I would like to come back. Entering and existing the property was quick easy and simple.

Very nice River view room. The Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Even get a nice warm Chocolate cookie upon check in.

The room and services were excellent! Great fitness center with all the cardio and strength training equipment you would need.

Always a nice time. Hotel and rooms are beautiful. Not a big fan of doorless showers. In room coffee would also be a nice “perk” (get it?)

I was surprised that the bed was so uncomfortable. I tossed and turned all night. We like our rooms cool to sleep and alot of hotels shut off the air through the night. Our room did stay cool all night long.

My family stayed for one night and had 2 rooms. We both had entirely different check in experiences. Although there was an issue with my card at my father's check in, the person checking us in was extremely rude. Both of our rooms (113 and 121) had a broken bed, where if you laid anywhere except the exact middle of the bed, it would tip to the side. One corner of the bed in our room, 121 would hit the floor. One of us was given cookies at check in, the other was rushed through with no information provided about card charges. The rooms offer no amenities, no coffee maker or microwave, not even a bottle of water.

After the experience checking in, we were not comfortable contacting the front desk for issues in the room. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel that charges so much for a room.

Food choices could be looked into. We had a burger and fries. Didn’t finish either. Pizza wasn’t worth ordering. Wish there was a decent restaurant to sit and eat and then continue to play. It’s nice to have it all in one place instead of leaving to go out to dinner.

Riverview 6th. Floor, the room was clean and very comfortable. The Staff was personable and very eager to help us with any inquiries. We enjoyed our second stay here and would have no doubts about referring the Landing to others. The Otis Spunkmeyer cookies were an added surprise.
