Hotel Majestic Olimp

In august 2021 we spent a great time me, my wife and my 1 and half year daughter.
The location is excelent, its close to the beach.
The crew was very friendly, they kindly assist every time with child chair.
Its a good variety of food, my wife is a vegetarian and she was happy with the variety.
The room was clean, little bit the restroom needs to be refurbished, but its a great place for small families.
They also have a playground and also You can find a bigger playground next to Belvedere Hotel.
My experience was great, also the view is great from the room.

We spent the second vacation at this hotel from September 1 to 8, 2019

Located in the Olimp resort 5 minutes from the beach, the hotel, equipped with elegant and welcoming spaces, offers rooms with minibar, television, air conditioning, clean and well maintained daily.
The plumbing works perfectly and I had no problems with mosquitoes or flies.

It has a large swimming pool, surrounded by sunbeds with towels included and swings, mini-pool with hot water for children, equipped with water toys and jacuzzi at the tourist's request. Fitness room, lobby bar, terrace restaurant with shows every night.
It offers a Swedish buffet breakfast, half board or full board - at the tourists' wish. At all tables there are drinks of all kinds - included.

Large spaces with comfortable armchairs, TVs and games for all ages, social and relaxation areas.
Generous guarded parking and surveillance cameras.
Careful and professional staff ready to help you at any time.

Situat in statiunea Olimp la 5 minute de plaja , hotelul, dotat cu spatii elegante si primitoare, ofera camere cu minibar, televizor, aer conditionat, curate si bine intretinute zilnic.
Instalatiile sanitare functioneaza perfect si nu am avut probleme cu tantari sau muste.

Are in dotare o piscina mare , inconjurata de sezlonguri cu prosoape incluse si de balansoare , minipiscina cu apa calda pentru copii, dotata cu jucarii de apa si jacuzzi la solicitarea turistului. Sala de fitness , lobby bar, terasa restaurant cu spectacole in fiecare seara.
Ofera mic dejun bufet suedez, demipensiune sau pensiune completa – la dorinta turistilor. La toate mesele sunt bautiri de toate felurile – incluse.

Spatii largi cu fotolii comode, televizoare si jocuri pentru toate varstele, zone de socializare si relaxare .
Parcare generoasa pazita si camere de supraveghere.
Personal atent si profesionist gata sa te ajute in orice moment.

Ne-a facut placere sa petrecem o vacanta minunata la hotel Majestic - Olimp

Shame on you Majestic Olimp,we are in 2018 ,you have bed bugs everywhere.Shame on you.I was awake till 2-3 am killing your big bed bugs.Really???People,can you believe that?????Dirty everywhere,i went after 2 days to the reception desk to ask for towels.Dirty and messy hotel,what ever you touch is dirty and smelly.Majestic you dont deserve my money which i gave you there.I spent toooo much for your dirty hotel.You offered me nothing.Expensive food,cold french fries,cold and uncooked foid for my child.You are the most poor hotel .Tv looks like a th from 1970.Maybe you Majestic forgot we are in 2018.In the morning for breakfast cold food,cold sausage,cold omlette,food for pigs.Really???For so much money which people are paying,you offer only this????Shame on you Majestic.I will never go back there,and i will make sure i will never recomend your dirty hotel.

The hotel has a a wonderful design, it is situated in a really quite area, very close to the beach. It is the perfect place for families with children or for the people who want a relaxing holiday.
The breakfast was a buffet and the dishes was very diverse; I am vegan and I didn't miss the food cooked at home - a big plus for this aspect.
The view from the window was wonderful - you'd have a great view of the beach! Overall, the staying was ok and the price was affordable.

Great restaurant, nice waitress, good food, live music and show every night. The atmosphere was perfect, the music was great for listening and for dancing. We even got a night with traditional dancers. I really recommend .

Located close to the beach ,next to pam beach hotel and to Amfiteatru Panoramic hotel.
The hotel is somewhat decorated modern but repairs made only for the eye not in depth .The food court is dated and not very well lid at night,food is average ,price over medium .The hotel has a pool that is nice ,but the surownding landscape needs to be redesigned,they aren't well mentained.
Parking is limited and the parking is a problem .
Rooms are decent but the curtains are very ugly and look very bad from the outside.
Better choose another place to go.

The price is very high for what this hotel offers. The only thing that looks good are the reception and the view (from rooms with sea view), all the other stuff are very old, smelly, broken...
The rooms (we had 5 rooms) don't have balcony, the windows are not very stable (if you push them , it moves)the furniture is very old , old and small TV , the bathroom smells and the shower is broken or doesn't work properly. They have wifi only at the reception (at slow speed),parking places, the pool is ok but they close the access at 7 pm, the restaurant is big but the food is not very good/tasty. The hotel has 14 floors and in the morning and evening the 2 elevators are very very busy and is kind of hard to catch one.

The hotel looks like it was renovated a few years ago, BUT:
- ROOMS: are small without a balcony where maybe you can dry your towels. You need to improvise. I dried our towels on the TV(it was useless anyway).
- TV - small, old and the cable link to it was exposed (not isolated - see pictures). Also the stand where the TV was set did not allow it to move to left or right;
- BED: terrible sleeping. The mattress was awful. When my wife or I were moving from one side to another, it felt like there was an earthquake. Bed was also small and disintegrating.
- Then nightstands were glued to the bed so you couldn't move the bed to the wall maybe- it was a tall bed so doing this would prevent falling from it.
- BATHROOM: clean, but it was disintegrating also. wall tiles falling off, the ceiling was wet (from the upper floor). It was very small also. 2 persons couldn't fit there. The thing on the floor (I can't say it was a carpet - maybe a very cheap carpet) was always getting wet.
- At some point in the middle of the day, there were some repairs being done near our room so noise. We called reception and they stopped just for a while - 30 mins.
- RESTAURANT: we had breakfast included. I can only say that the food was the same each morning. Low quality food and it was exposed on some tables on some large plates. A fridge is what they use at other restaurants and this is what I can recommend they use as well. I ate one evening as well so I can say that the food is little and expensive.
- AC unit: even if the room had AC installed we never used it because it smelled like mold. I suggest the hotel invests in replacing the filters and cleaning the installation

The reception is very nice but the rooms are opposite, no balcony, when u open the window u see a lot of "brown" from birds on the AC, the bathroom is very dirty with hair on shower from other clients, found bugs in room and the most interesting thing is that at 23:00 there was no water, we went at the reception twice for solving this incovenient because once it was not enough.

The place is nice and there are not so many people so you can relax. But there are just a few places where you can buy souvenires or stuffs for yourself. The hotel looks nice. It has a terrace where you can find a pool for adults and one for kids. In every evening there is live music at the terrace so it has a great atmosphere. In the hotel's restaurant the food is delicious!! The room is ok but we find the glasses unclesnd and some used soap in the bathroom...

Thanks to me that I did not choose this hotel for vacation and it was only for one night. I landed in Tuzla and we received information that it is a good hotel for sleeping and has good service. I was wrong. The bathroom was arranged as some beginners (I mean the installation of tiles and tiling not to say that clog shower when I wanted to shower). Staff at reception very kind. At breakfast staff all friendly and breakfast compensate for that poorly. Parking is in front of the hotel and is relatively ok.What pleased me most work very well air conditioner.

My room was ok, the space a bit small but the view was awesome! I reccommend the 12th floor and that seaview will overcome the little downs of the room. The breakfast was a buffet and you could chose from a large variety of foods. For lunch and dinner you could order from their menu which is rich and the food is good. Also the cocktails are good. Nice and practical reception and pool.

The hotel seams old, even if interior is renewed.
It has some games at the first level, a pool outside and a pool for children very small with cold water.
The food good, but it takes a lot until they bring it to you.
The hotel is pretty far from the beach and you have some staires until you reach the beach, so for people who has walking issues is not a good choice.
We staied in an apartment, which is pretty large, but the mattress from the bed was very stange.
Also the area around the hotel is very deserted. In the evening is pretty scary.

The hotel has a nice reception, somewhat nice rooms, but missing the balcony, there is also a room inside the hotel that can hardly qualify as a playground, but there is a rather nice,but small playground outside. The pool was nice, but the kids pool was not filled with water when we were there.
The restaurant is OK, good service, good food in terms of breakfast but also a la carte lunch and diner.
Nice parking lot.
10 min away from the beach.

This hotel is not worth the money. I had to go 4 times to the front desk because the card to the room didn't work. They finally concluded the obvious: the lock on the door was broken so they changed our room.
The furniture is old and no improvements have been made to the rooms for ages. The bathrooms are tiny, old and often get flooded. We had the unpleasant event of having water come through the ceiling from the room above.
I suggest to the management of the hotel to start an investment programme.

Hotel Majestic Olimp is one of those big 14 floors hotel that stand by the sea,offering a great view for those who appreciate that.
It also has a pool and a small garden.
The staff is friendly and tries to make you feel comfortable,even though the hotel itself could have been made better: the elevators are small,the rooms are small and without a balcony.Except for these inconveniences,the Majestic is a good place to stay in Olimp( I would rate it as "the best" place to stay in Olimp),with these +++:
-price/retturn extremely convenient (322 €/5 nights/2 adults+1 kid,booked in August,one wk in advance!
-extremely nice view from the superiour floors.
-existance of appartments,all with sea view at convenient prices.
-nice (clean) pool
-good "a la carte" restaurant( a bit expensive compared to the area,but Olimp is rather a cheap place)
-position close to the sea.
Conclusion:if you like Olimp,THIS i s the place to stay!Just ask for a room at high floors and away from the elevators;)

This is a wonderful place for those who want decent facilities at decent prices. The 3* hotel is located in Olimp - a quiet, green mini-resort developed in the mid-seventies in a thick forest on the Black Sea coast, between the city of Constanta and Mangalia. The Majestic-Olimp is a c. 13-storey recently refurbished building, with outdoor swimming pool and free guarded parking lot, surrounded by lots of vegetation (of the former forest, it’s just like a park). It hangs at c. 10 meters above the sea, with stairs that take you down to the sandy beach. The view is splendid! And the price has been quite attractive: we paid in early July this year about Euro 150 for 7 days (B&B) per person.
All rooms have seaside view (large widows, no balcony). Room facilities include air conditioning cable TV (with non-Romanian channels as well e.g. CNN, Euronews, RTL, TV5Monde etc.), mini-fridge. Small bathroom with a shower; hair-dryer provided free on request. Towels and bedsheets changed every 2-3 days.
A lot of families with children come here because there is a small garden with a playground and a kids pool. There is also an amusement park in Neptun resort (c. 15 minutes’ walking distance). A mini-train, horse carriages, double bikes (see photos).

The sunbeds and umbrellas around the hotel pool are free; the pool is well groomed, with a pool bar inside, showers etc. Water temperature could be a bit higher.

The hotel staff are professional, always smiling, helpful and prompt. The manager is ubiquitous – you can find her either behind the reception desk, or in the restaurant, or around the pool, always responsive to feedback.

Meals can be served inside or outside, on a covered terrace where there is live programme every evening. Breakfast buffet available – it is so rich (from cheese, salami, vegetables, salads; toast; jam, cereals; to cooked dishes such as mashed beans, pasta, fresh omelettes on request, sausages, etc), that, even if somewhat repetitive, it can’t get too boring. Lunch and dinner – a la carte only (no buffet),

If you want to have a meal outside the hotel, there are plenty of terraces around - in Olimp and in Neptun, inc. self-service. Food is very cheap (c. Euro5 a portion of steak + chips or mashed potatoes; soup c. Euro 2; a 32-cm pizza c. Euro5). There are some very good fish restaurants on the beach, which serve fresh fish.

There are also a couple of shops and fresh fruit stands near the hotel.

There are wide, sandy beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas (c. Euro3.5) but for those who are in search of less crowded, even naturist, spaces, large beaches stretch for over 1 km up to the north. The beaches are protected by strong piers which turn into promenades especially in the evening.

Unlike other resorts where walks are limited because of lack of promenades, Olimp and Neptun have long promenades along the sea coast (see photos).

If you want to move around and don’t have a car, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. where a mini-bus comes every 15 minutes (c. Euro 0.90/ticket) and takes you along the sea coast down to the town of Mangalia in c. 30 mins (crossing Neptun and other 3 resorts – Jupiter, Venus & Saturn).

From Olimp-Neptun there are 35 km to Constanta (c. half an hour by car) and 65 km to Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport. Foreign tourists who came by plane to Kogalniceanu airport, were provided transfer from/to the airport by the hotel bus, on request. There is also a railway station at c. 2 km from the hotel (with taxis available all the time) – (c. 4 hrs to Bucharest.
