Beautiful outdoor spaces, lovely restaurant & pool area
No gym, & no complimentary coffee in the morning, and even the paid coffee was not available until 7:30 AM. I’m on early riser and it would’ve been nice to have some available by 6 AM.
Great experience at the hotel. The best service and Ben was such a helpful guy at the hotel! Definitely would recommend!

Rooms, staff, entire property was a letdown
Sole East Resort is truly the perfect girls’ weekend trip. My friends and I have stayed there for many summers now, and it never disappoints! The property is beautiful, with so much greenery, cozy fire pits, and a laid-back atmosphere that feels both relaxing and fun.
The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure every guest has a great experience. The vibe is intimate but still social, making it easy to meet other guests and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. The live music is always a great touch, and the location is ideal—close enough to town to walk everywhere, while still feeling like a peaceful escape. It has become one of our favorite summer traditions, and we already can't wait to come back!!
Besides the location, atmosphere, rooms, etc...The staff at Sole East truly makes the experience, especially Thomas the resort’s head manager. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and the staff remembers us. They are attentive, super accommodating and are truly invested in making it a great experience.
Sole East is an amazing hotel to return to summer after summer! It is a beautiful location with a fun and inviting atmosphere. It is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation at the same time. They offer great amenities: amazing pool, fire pits, bar and restaurant. It is also super close to town and all the great spots in Montauk. The staff is super accommodating, friendly and will remember your face. My friends and I return to Sole East multiple times throughout the summer and it makes for the best memories!
I always stay at Sole East whenever I visit MTK throughout the summer. It’s really close to town, and you’re set for the weekend because they have a delicious restaurant, fun bar, pool, tanning lounges, and a cute boutique shop. My favorite part about staying here is waking up in the morning, grabbing a coffee from the restaurant, and just walking around the resort’s stunning grounds (yes - it’s that beautiful). If you want a fun, relaxing, and wholesome MTK weekend, you’ll want to stay here.

The hotel website as well as Expedia lists the restaurant open for breakfast, the reason we booked the hotel. But was told upon arrival, that due to low capacity the restaurant would only be open for dinner. A most disappointing news.
Staff was nice….small fridge in the rooms would be a home run
Just got back from the most amazing girls' Labor Day weekend at Sole East and we’re already planning our return! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs—friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The rooms were spacious, stylish, and super comfortable—esp loved the Apotheke toiletries locally made in Brooklyn they smelled amazing! We spent hours by the heated pool, stretched out on the oversized chaise beds. The cocktails were expertly crafted I highly recommend their mojitos! The food- Delicious! The Frito Misto was a standout—crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.
The grounds were something out of a Gatsby dream—beautifully landscaped, peaceful, dotted with strung lights & private seating areas that made it easy to relax and star gaze. Our last night, we gathered around the firepit with cocktails and s’mores. Pure magic.
