Tacoma Lakewood TownePlace Suites
Pros:

We stayed here for one night in June 2026 before visiting Mt. Rainier National Park. Our room was clean as were the dishes. It was a short drive to restaurants and gas stations from the hotel. We left early in the morning to get a jump start on the national park and missed the free breakfast. There were definitely people who were long staying in this hotel because went we checked in several came to the front desk to pick up amazon orders.

Pros:

My car, which I parked in the hotel parking lot, was badly scratched. I asked the front desk if they could check the hotel's security camera system, but was told that the hotel does not have external security cameras.

Kimmie at front desk very pleasant and helpful. Volunteered to bring an extension cord to my room.
Lina in breakfast room very helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but good. Each day eggs, meat, some days biscuits and gravy, good coffee.
Stayed 7 days, would stay again. Location a bit funky but doable.
6 minutes from St Anthony’s. Looked for a hotel close to hospital to use just for sleep and shower. Choose this hotel as part of Marriott chain but lower priced compared to other hotels in area.
Denver light rail from airport to hospital takes about 90 minutes. Get off at Jeffco Federal, then 8-minute walk to hospital.
Mexican food at Jose O’Shea’s - only get the chicken fajitas. Breakfast at Le Peep good. Jason’s deli not so much. Whole Foods 10 minutes away. Outback Steakhouse no. Bonefish Grill grilled fish really good - one plate serves two.
Rm 211. Quiet.

Comfortable Business Stay
Pros:

Had a comfortable business stay for two nights. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and quiet. The gym was sufficient with some free weights, cable machine and treadmills. Breakfast was included and had very healthy options.

Be sure to ask for a room not facing the freeway, which is adjacent to the hotel

Old and run down
Pros:

The property is either much older than it appears in pictures or has just suffered some major damage. This property is very run down for Marriott, even the lower end.

Pros:

The hotel was convenient to the base and really worked great. It was clean, staff were friendly, the treadmill and elliptical machines were in Great condition. We slept well on comfortable beds and enjoyed the breakfast bar. The coffee was hot and strong- great flavor.

The only downside is the road noise, but nothing they can do about that and hearing it just means it is easy in and out to go sight seeing.
