Tolle Lage und aussergewöhnliches und variierendes Frühstück. Extrem nettes und zuvorkommendes Team. Nespresso Maschine im sehr schönen Zimmer. Für unsere sehr frühe Abreise wurden Toasts vorbereitet-danke dafür. Parkplatz neben Hotel. Schöne Pool Oase mit tollen Pflanzen, ideal zum entspannen.
Bademäntel unangenehm zu tragen. Den kleinen, süssen Hund etwas mehr erziehen :)
The staff were very accommodating and made us an early breakfast as we had an early departure. Rom beautifully appointed.
The courtyard door cannot be closed and unfortunately there were some guests that kept us awake two nights running as they continued to talk until 2:30am.

Wir waren sehr erfreut über die Gastfreundschaft der Hotelmitarbeiterinnen und -mitarbeiter. Zu jeder Zeit waren sie hilfsbereit für uns. Wir hatten nur Frühstück inklusive, das jeden Morgen ein wenig variierte – mit kleinen Häppchen wie z. B. Rührei, einer gemischten Käseplatte, frischem Brot und vielem mehr. Tee gab es immer kostenlos dazu, und auch Wasser wurde uns auf Anfrage gratis gebracht.
Während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir angenehme 26 Grad. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Deluxe-Zimmer im Erdgeschoss: viel Platz, eine hohe Decke und somit ein Gefühl von Freiheit. Zusätzlich standen uns zwei Balkone zur Verfügung, ideal zum Entspannen – und natürlich gab es auch den Pool.
Wir würden dieses Hotel jedem Paar empfehlen, das Wert auf einen grosszügigen Raum legt, den Pool nutzen möchte und in etwa 8–10 Minuten zu Fuss die Innenstadt erreichen will. Für uns war das Derik Otel ein Volltreffer, und wenn wir wieder nach Izmir reisen, dann ganz sicher erneut hierhin.
Der Pool war etwas kalt, doch sobald die Sonne geschienen hat, war es angenehm. Zudem hätten wir uns eine bessere Schalldämmung gewünscht.
The room was good and clean. The shower gels and shampoos actually were amazing. The room was spacious and there wasn't noise from the lobby as some people have mentioned in other reviews.
Breakfast was good although you have to pay extra for coffee is not included.
The WiFi wasn't strong. We couldn't get coverage all through the room. Some people will miss that there isn't a TV in the room. The restaurant doesn't serve snacks like potato chips so if you want anything like that you have to go into town.

In my opinion, there were not enough safes in the rooms. Leaving a safe in the rooms not only gives peace of mind to the guest, but also means that there will be no suspicion of the staff when things are lost, and it is also better for the staff.

Excellent place to stay in Alaçatı. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again.
Das Zimmer und das Hotel war sehr schön Bohemisch eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich
Leider ist der schöne Look auch schon alles. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein man hat kaum Platz den Koffer auf zuklappen. Außerdem gibt es keinen Stauraum für Kleider. Gerade mal 3kleiderbügel gav es, wobei zwei davon mit Bademäntel besetzt waren. Auch das Badezimmer ist extrem klein. So das kein Platz für den Hygienebeutel im Badezimmer ist.
Das schlimmste war, wie ringhörig das Hotel war. Da wir unser Zimmer direkt hinter der Rezeption hatten, konnten wir nicht nur die Person an der Rezeption die ganze Nacht hören und wie sie am Handy war, sondern auch jede einzelne Person, die nach Hause kam oder im Zimmer gesprochen hat. Die Tür zum Zimmer ust sehr dünn und es fehlen mindestens 2 cm bis zum Boden. So ist nicht nur der Ton, sondern sogar das Licht ins Zimmer gefallen, wenn der Bewegungsmelder in der Nacht anging. Sehr schade.
Super locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel en ontzettend goed ontbijt. Mooie kamers, zoals op de foto. Enige nadeel was de waterdruk van de douche en kraan, die waren niet goed. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Şimdiye kadar konakladığım en güzel ve temiz hotel! Alaçato sokaklarına 3-4 dakika yürüme mesafesinde, yer olarak mükemmel. Çalışanlar çok samimi ve güler yüzlü. Odalar her sabah muthiş bir şekilde temizlenip havalandırılıyor. Çok güzel bir tatil geçirdik sizin sayenizde, çok teşekkür ederiz!

This place looks good on the surface but the manager and main staff do not speak English and were not helpful at all to try and communicate even with using Google translate.
I booked this hotel for my birthday trip and unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed with my experience. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide, often booking through Booking.com and relying on reviews, but this was the first time I felt genuinely misled.
The room provided was not as advertised. The bathroom facilities barely functioned, and the space I received was very different from the one I believed I had booked. This hotel is presented as a luxury establishment, but my experience did not reflect that standard.
During the stay, one of my friends became unwell, and the lack of support from staff was very concerning. Despite requesting something as simple as tea and hot water, nothing was delivered to the room. Even after arranging for someone to call in Turkish on her behalf, she was left without assistance for hours. This was upsetting and showed a lack of care for guest wellbeing.
Another issue was the charges for basic amenities. While complimentary water was initially provided, I was shocked to be charged £62 at checkout for additional water and coffee at breakfast. For a hotel that markets itself as luxury, I would expect water and coffee at breakfast to be included in the price we paid. When my friends and I raised this concern, the situation was handled poorly, with staff even threatening to call the police instead of discussing it calmly.
I also need to highlight a health and safety concern. The pool area was not properly maintained, and the floors were extremely slippery. I personally slipped several times moving between the pool and the hotel steps. While I was able to recover without injury, this could be very dangerous, particularly for older guests.
Overall, while the hotel has a visually appealing aesthetic, the management, service, and professionalism did not meet expectations. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously to improve both the guest experience and safety at the property.

I have rarely encountered such a friendly and polite staff – every single interaction reflected a sincere desire to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel is one of elegance combined with a sense of ease, creating the perfect balance between luxury and familiarity. The staff were not only attentive but also thoughtful, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their professionalism was matched by their heartfelt hospitality, which gave the entire experience a very personal touch.
It is rare to find a place where you feel like more than just a guest – here, you are truly treated like family. We left with wonderful memories and a strong wish to return soon.
