Pleasant Hotel, near all the Monuments.
Pros:

Convenient location. Large room with balcony. Pleasant pool with plenty of shade. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Hotel was a bit run down and could use some maintenance.

Awesome overall
Pros:

Would highly recommend Mahabs.
We booked a family suite. Rooms were large and comfortable at reasonable cost. They have onsite parking. Food was tasty. Swimming pool is nice.
Above all is their location. You can cover all the monuments and beach by walk.

Cons:

During rain the common area became a bit muddy.

Horrible experience
Pros:

It was a very bad experience. Qe had two rooms. In one the bathroom clogged. There was no shower. The bed linens were dirty and toen. There were cockroaches in the room. The other room had broken shower. The TV had no English or Himdi channels. The breakfast ran out the next day. It is not worth paying anything for.

Pros:

I had very bad experience with Booking.com I had paid Rs3360 thru gpay and booking was unsuccessful by them it was onthe July 30th now we are on the 16th August till now I have not got the refund pl be careful with Booking.com

Parel midden in de city
Pros:

Super mooie locatie, midden in Mahabalipuram. Tempels op 200 meter lopen vanuit het hotel.
Mooi zwembad on in af te koelen en mooie ruime kamers. Eten was ook goed. Aardige jongen in de bediening.

Cons:

Er werd gewerkt, waardoor er veel lawaai was. Ons was verteld dat dit tussen 9 en 18 uur zou zijn maar helaas om half zeven in de ochtend al gewerkt door het boren.

Le personnel est prévenant et efficace.
L'emplacement permet de voir beaucoup de choses en se déplaçant à pied.
La piscine est propre et grande. Le jardin est très agréable.

Cons:

L'hôtel était en travaux pendant notre séjour si bien que c'était plutôt bruyant.

Not a great experience. Waste of money
Pros:

Restaurant gave some decent food.

Cons:

Staff should be professional and courteous. They totally lack this. Cleanliness of the rooms, Providing bath towels, toiletries etc are basic things. They need to be schooled for this.

My stay at Hotel Mahabs was wonderful! Thank you.
Pros:

I loved the beautiful, clean and large pool with the trunk and branches of a tree hanging over it. The Shore Temple and the beach were just a short walk from the hotel. The staff was always cordial and helpful. It was very kind of them to offer me an upgrade on their own to a quieter and more beautiful room on the second day of my two-day stay at the wonderfully green Hotel Mahabs. I loved the quaint old furniture and the paintings of chrysanthemums.
