Location!!
There were unexpectedly no windows in our room, this became problematic when there was a putrid odor from the drain that could not be resolved
While hip and cool, this hotel does not sacrifice comfort. Rooms were spacious and really nice. Very well located. Close to center of Galway with tons of restaurants and pubs.
The hotel was nice I wasn’t crazy about the decor but that doesn’t have any effect on the quality. The rooms were spacious the shower was very nice. Rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable.
We only ate breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. Staff all very friendly.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to shopping area. There are Restaurant all over.
Parking is very challenging we had a bus tour so it wasn’t an issue for us.
You won’t be disappointed.
Great hotel. Front desk staff top notch. Very welcoming and informative.
Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom amenities very nice. Beds and linens very comfortable. Location is outstanding.
Morning breakfast was awesome
Highly recommend at every level.
Sehr grosses Zimmer und grosses Bad. Sehr dekorativ und stylisch eingerichtet.

Perfect as always. Love coming here for a night away with the girls.
Everything couldn't fault it and we got upgraded for my partners 50th that was so so nice
Our agent chose this hotel because we didn't have a car and wanted a walkable option. It was definitely located in a walkable area, however, the hotel itself needs improvement to be close to a 4.5 star property.
ROOM: The room was actually more spacious than our other hotels in Ireland but details were overlooked. The shower stall is super small, there is no fan in the bathroom (we noticed this all over Ireland and it's so odd!), the bathroom sink didn't drain well, and the bed and pillows were NOT comfortable. Sheets were also stiff and a bit scratchy. There are also no luggage racks/places for your suitcase in the room. I put mine on the couch because I refuse to put them on the floor.
HOTEL: The front desk was very friendly but it shocked us that there were no bellhops/people to help with luggage. They didn't even have luggage carts at the front door at a minimum. The lobby is very small and doesn't have any sitting areas, etc. It's also connected to the restaurant next door and the music was SO LOUD when we arrived at 5 in the afternoon. It felt like we were walking into a club at midnight. Also, we had the window cracked a tiny bit and it was very noisy in our room. Lots of shouting from the street, etc. The hallways need a renovation -- carpet is worn down, paint is chipping and not clean, halls are super narrow. The common areas and hallways felt like a 3-star hotel.
FOOD: We had breakfast at the hotel and it was OK. Very few egg options (I don't eat meat) and the scrambled eggs came out runny, even after asking for them very well done. We also waited over 10 minutes for coffee -- food came out before coffee. The pancakes were super fluffy and good but not what I wanted for my main breakfast.
Overall, if you need a hotel right in the middle of Galway, it's probably one of the best options. However, if we were to come back, we'd stay just outside of Galway at a more upscale option and take Ubers into the city.
It was right in the center as well as having a cooling unit in the room
The shower did slightly flood when taking showers but nothing else
Great location close to the bus station and nice area. Perfect for exploring Galway for a day as it was clean and the staff was friendly.
Had a great stay! Stylish restaurant with a great cocktail bar downstairs. Appreciated the locked door - and security check at the desk late at night! Shower was amazing ( nothing worse than a not so great shower when traveling). Only complaint is that the pillows are absolutely terrible ( but bed very comfortable) and the room was warm - had “ac” on and the temperature of the room did not change for 2 days. Thankfully it wasn’t too warm outside but it also wasn’t cold, we had great weather.
