Carpet on the stairs was not attached securely and nearly sent me flying. Watch out!!

Excellent enjoyable stay over Christmas period
Pros:

Easy location for visiting family. Hotel is very nice lovely rooms and bar area. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Food was always lovely good menu large selection of beers and spirits

Very small rooms in need of updating. Lovely staff.
Pros:

The staff when checking us in and at breakfast time were so good. Welcoming and friendly. The continental breakfast was excellent. We couldn't eat it all.

Cons:

The room was absolutely tiny with extension leads everywhere. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, very much in need of some tlc.

Coffee facilities in room.
Room clean.
Heating nice and warm.
Lots of plug sockets.

Cons:

Plastic pillow protectors but no flap in pillow cases to hold pillow in so kept having head on plastic as slipped out case.
Very hard mattress.
Bath was extremley difficult to access due to static shower screen and position of toilet.
Bath plug very difficult to remove and bath taps got stuck.
Property did say they would address these issues.
Room not cleaned and made up one day.
