Please be aware that there is a Pub/Restaurant beneath the hotel, and there is Live Music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Music stops at 11pm, however, noise from such events may be heard from the rooms. Our staff do their best to make sure the noise level is kept at a minimum, however this is not guaranteed.

A few niggling problems that didn't really distract from my enjoyment of the stay.
The room, staff and breakfast.
Telly didn't work in room. Breakfast was lovely but spoilled because they had sachets of sauce, which were really difficult to open.

Friendly staff and a good location
Property needs updating but our room was clean with all amenities. The only downside is the ensuite in our room is a bit tight for space getting in and out of the shower over bath as screen is fixed so wouldn’t be very good for less agile guests.

I stayed during heatwave and although they had put a fan in the room there was very little ventilation.
Duvet was a heavy winter one.
Having a sheet under the duvet would have been a great addition.

The fire alarm went off and none of the emergency contact numbers worked. Luckily a neighbour managed to switch it off for everyone. Only a minor inconvenience, everything else was great!
Continental breakfast was nice and a good range of pastries, toast and jam, marmalade or chocolate spread. Cereal, fruit yoghurts and fresh fruit was available. Also selection of juices and tea and coffee. A cooked breakfast was available to buy but we just had the continental as it was delicious. That there was somewhere for food and drink in the evening
The room was rather warm as there seemed to be a hotting system in the bathroom. Also the hot tap in the bathroom was spitefully hot
Room was lovely, bed really comfy. Ensuite clean with good shower. Breakfast was good.
My sister was staying in a room opposite to ours. After having the sun on that room all day it was too hot overnight.
The hotel was friendly, clean and comfortable and free car park. I will use again.
