The best hotel stay in Europe
Pros:

The room and facilities were amazing! The view, the staff attention to detail, the hot tub, the bathroom - all 10 stars!!

Cons:

If I had to be very picky, it would have been great to have Netflix/smart TV's in the room. This in no way impacted our stay but might be important for other guests who aren't too busy exploring Porto.

Nice hotel.
Pros:

We got a room upgrade. Room was big and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. All staff very friendly and helpful. The glass of sparkling wine on arrival was very appreciated.

Cons:

No proper door on toilet or shower, just frosted glass and no other mirror in the room. The room was quite dark because of the decor and lighting.

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the breakfast is great, everything was top. Highly recommended!

Cons:

When there are a lot of guests at breakfast, there is a bit of organization missing, but everything else was great!

Ich hatte die Suite gebucht. Das Hotel ist Luxus pur. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück mit einer Riesenauswahl. Es war wirklich alles perfekt.

Amazing but the other racist guests downgrades the experience.
Pros:

The breakfast was great with a nice variety of choices, the facilities were great, the decor was lovely and the fragrance through out the hotel was calming. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant and the food at the Digby restaurant was amazing. I also loved how every room had a different theme and meaning.

Cons:

They hosted a French speaking racist company dinner (on 29/01/2026). The employees of that company didn’t like the idea of a black woman enjoying herself at the Digby restaurant during my solo holiday at the hotel. The French speaking group of racists consisted of 3 older men and 1 older woman that said “they are everywhere, they are invading the nice spaces”, they said this to a white male waiter and he laughed along, I hope he was just being polite and didn’t agree with them as he was lovely to me when I dined at the Digby restaurant the next night. Mind you I was the only other person at the restaurant. However, they didn’t know I spoke English and understood them so when they heard me ordering my food in English with a British accent they were distrust and silent with shocked looks on their faces. After that I didn’t hear any political hate speeches but experienced passive aggressive behaviour from one of the older males as he passed by my table.

Thankfully this was not the attitude of all of the guests but only some of those just dining at the restaurant and bars and NOT staying at the hotel, surprise surprise.
