Lovely hotel with spectacular views of the river and the lower town. I was upgraded to a room with a large tub and deck and treated to fruits and wine upon arrival. The staff were very nice and helpful with all needs.

Cons:

The location is in the upper part of the city, making a walk from town to the hotel difficult (it sits on a hilltop). I didn’t know this when I booked for a conference that was on the lower part almost impossible to walk back and forth without a serious exertion. If uber travel works for you then this is very appropriate.

My upgraded room (Charlie Chaplin) was very dark. Painted black. I was told that they are planning on renovating the room to lighter walls..

I had dinner once and didn’t like much my main course (vegetarian) although the dessert was very nice.
The breakfast was plentiful and tasty but some details were missing for me- like the pancakes were always cold as well as potato pancakes, warm and not crispy. Things like that. I think more things need to be made in smaller amounts more frequently (like the above)

Pros:

Très agréable, deco cosy, propreté irréprochable, superbe vue, l’emplacement proche du centre, p’tit dej au top et par dessus tout le personnel d’une extrême gentillesse
