The location was near all
This was the worst place I ever stayed at. For starters, the front desk guy Terrance was ok until I had to go back requesting another room due to the room to out door having a crap where u can see inside the room. When I went back, without me saying anything, he said "oh Lord now what" I explained that this was unacceptable and he said nothing he could do about it. A black lady that apparently lives there jumped into our conversation and told me that if I didn't like it I could find some other F place to go, and to get the F Out. Saturday morning I went to the office for no toilet paper in the room no towels. Couldn't get towels because she didn't have the key to get them and gave a toilet paper that went I placed it on the counter, she said no need to be hostile. Hostile? All I did was place it in front of me since she had placed it far from me. Now Saturday evening we came back to the room, to find out we were locked out. Luckily, their office was open til 7pm only, and I got back at 635p so I was able to get that fixed. But what?? Come to find out Terrance only set up my keys for one day vs the 2 days. Due to them closing at 7 there would have I have gotten left overnight since they don't have a number or a contact for emergencies. Ok room, walked in it smelled so strong of bleach that exacerbated my asthma and now I've been so sick. I got up Sun at 447a and couldn't breathe. My chest was tight. Control it but going back in the room with the strong smell of bleach and the fumes just got me worse. Couldn't leave there fast enough, when we opened the door there were 3 dos just laying right outside the door. The black dog got up and ran into our room. Finally, 20 minutes later they were gone and we were able to walk out to then find dog poop in the hallway. Was it a convenient location, yes! Was it affordable, yea but the place is awful. Floors were nasty filthy and now I am dealing with asthma and sickening from staying there.
There isn't much to like apart from the evening front desk staff being friendly and transparent about my booking cancelled by the day staff of this hotel.
This motel is unpredictable and they may cancel your booking in the last day, even if you might have made your booking well in advance.
I had booked a room in this hotel via booking.com for a night to stop over for some rest with my family including my 1 year old daughter over a long drive, which was confirmed with the payment already done about a week before my trip. However, the hotel decides to cancel the reservation on the day of my arrival, and never bothered to inform me.
Upon reaching, I was told that the day time staff had cancelled my reservation, which until then didn't reflect in my booking.com bookings.
People book in advance to avoid distress during travel, but if you cannot keep your reservations, please do not accept that in the first place. And if you do cancel later, please save folks the trouble and let them know of the cancellations.
