Meaco Hotel Royal - Tayuman

Clean.. the staff are friendly and helpful

Still outstanding hotel, no complaints from the kids they look forward everyday for buffet breakfast, and to go swimming

Meaco Royal hotel is very close to so many business establishments and 1.5 km fro Divisoria. So if you're into shopping this hotel, has an easy access to everything. Immaculate Conception church is also a 2 minute walk and the 7eleven is just across the street.
The staff were very nice especially the guards, very helpful.

The toilet was clogged up.

The staff are very accomodating, from the guard to the hotel receptionist. Everything we asked for , they gave it with a smile.
We had a very good stay that is why we keep on coming back every January.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. There is no housekeeping. You need to place your garbage outside of your door to get emptied. I asked front desk staff for fresh towels and linens after day two, it was never provided. The washroom had cobwebs by the shower. The floor turned dirty when taking a shower. In the corners you could see built up filth. Comparing this property to any other 2 star puts it far behind. There are plenty of staff around I’m not sure what for as there was little to no service.

Compared to thier nearby similar rivals Meaco has:

+bigger size room with double glazing windows and modern aircon
+24/7 hot meals (but limited selection)
+plug for bathroom sink!
+eu&us electric socket
+close to pure gold and 7/11 accross street
- soft drinks not so good
- shower stuck to wall ( but extra sink at lower level)
- poor drainage so you kind of flood tge whole bathroom with full wash
- mosquitoes
- very noisy bathroom door (maybe just our room?)

The hotel staffs charged for things on top of the amount we paid for. Like an extra 150 per day because we booked a room that based on 2 pax but invited another person to join. I know for a fact that practce is that you get charged only for asking for extra bed which we didn’t. They received cash from us and not bother to provide receipt. And tried to ask for money again upon checking out. Also, they deducted 2hrs from our stay syaong that this was because we checked in early. To say that we even paud for an extra whole day for checking in the night before our pre-booked stay in expedia. It was obvious that we shouldn’t be charged for it but we are too busy to argue.

The lid of the toileT is broken they didn’t fixed it before the guest came to check in. The bed sheet are a bit dark and dirty it looks old sheets. There is no room boy to help the guests for the heavy luggage to go down.

部屋はきれいにしてありましたが、シャワーの水量が少ないのと、トイレと仕切りがないため水がトイレの方までたまってしまう。
ただ、料金が安いからしかたないですかね。

if you like local flavor, this is a great location. The street basketball games around the corner are great evening entertainment. 7-11 across the street. Lots of local vendors. Short walk to the train or take the jeepney out front

room was never cleaned during a week, stuff does not know how to call a cab, no information about ANYTHING...

L’hôtel est situé à deux pas des bidonvilles mais c’est ce que l’on souhaitait, concernant l’etat Général, pour 10€ la nuit on ne va pas se plaindre, ça reste correct. Par contre, là où nous avons vraiment été déçu, c’est par l’incompetencre du personnel. Alors que nous devions partir pour reprendre notre avion et continuer notre séjour à travers les phillipines et qu’un véritable déluge tombé dehors, j’ai gentiment demandé aux demoiselles de l’accueil Si il était possible d’en m’appeler un taxi, rare étaient ceux qui passaient par ce boulevard, elle m’a sèchement répondu non. Le service, c’est la base d’un hôtel, surtout quand on est à l’etrnager. J’ai alors insisté, je ne savais pas comment en trouver un et avec mes sacs, mon fils et la pluie, c’etait Mission impossible, mais au lieu de m’aider, la demoiselle de l´accueil s’est retourné et à commencer à compter ses paquets de chips pour en finir avec moi. Heureusement, les habitants du quartier, me voyant seule avec mon fils de 9 ans ont tout fait pour m’aider. Cela n’empêche, on a quand même dû attendre 15 minutes sous une pluie tropicale avant d’en trouver un. Résultat, une semaine d’otite pour mon fils et donc une semaine de vacance à la plage gâché a cause d’une demoiselle qui n’avait pas envie de faire son travail.
Dommage car on n’est pas du genre à se plaindre et sans cet incident on ne se serait pas plaint. Mais quand on bosse a l’accueil, la base c’est quand même de savoir être accueillante et serviable!

Einfache Lage

Good budget hotel. No complimentary water.

1. CR doors are damaged.
2. Presence of cockroach in the room.
3. Problem in fire alarm system which suddenly alarmed at around 3 am causing panic and concerns from guests of fire. Nobody cares to advise the guests and just wait for calls from guests.
4. Lack of little respect upon checking out. Keeps on calling the room despite a little extension of 30 minutes after check out time. Still not satisfied and the staff knocks on the door to make sure that the guests will go oit immediately.
5. Late servicing especially doing room clean up and incomplete supplies provided like tissue and soap.

I booked for 2 nights, hotel staff woke us up at 12 midnight informing us that we have to check out in 15 minutes. I was told then that our check out time was at noon time. Have to go down just to show them my hotel booking. Location is worst, so many disturbances in the middle of the night. So noisy. Bathroom floor clogged when you take your shower.
