Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, exceptionaly good. Very high standard of decor. Bed very comfortable. Very clean and immaculate all round. Food breakfast/dinner very good, lovely restuarant.
Quiet and peaceful beautiful setting.
Bath/shower in room was very deep and difficult to get in and out of especially if you are elderly. Bedroom carpet had a few stains. No lounge area. Rather difficult to find. Some areas of woodwork/doors in restuarant very scuffed.

The location was surrounded by beautiful countryside, the hotel was modern and well furnished with a lovely dining room where breakfast and dinner was served. Our room was very comfortable overlooking the courtyard with a large king size bed. All the amenities were excellent and we were generally happy with our stay.
I was disappointed with my breakfast. Maybe the chef had an "off" day. I was given two very small eggs, a tiny tomato and literally three tiny mushrooms. The waiter even commented when he brought me my breakfast, how small the portion was on a huge plate....not impressed after reading the previous glowing comments about breakfast.

Fantastic value. Restaurant food was exceptional
Location is quiet and peaceful yet only 15 minutes from Grimsby town centre. The room was ultra comfortable - the best bed I have slept in. I only met one member of staff - who I think was called Daniel and he was friendly and professional and was both receptionist and waiter!
The food was a bit average - which is not what I had heard from other locals. I had the chicken kebab special - the chicken was flavoursome and well cooked, not dry, but the bread was soggy and oily and there was far too much bland white rice on it.
This was our first stay and we were really impressed with the standard of the room and the hotel facilities. The restaurant food quality was exceptional and we look forward to staying again
