Pros:

Tucked away on a hidden corner, you should best navigate your way to Soffia using Google Maps Directions, or find the opening to Efendi Ilyas Street next to the old city walls and following it all the way through, no matter how improbable the path looks. Having found it, it's a blissfully comfortable place, with balconies for some rooms. A well-supplied breakfast takes place at the top, with stunning views over the Old City, Beyler Mosque, the Flame Towers and even the Crystal Palace over by Baku Bay. Specify if you want new towels or sheets changed because they might not provide daily service. Our toilet seat could rock a little, and the drainage for the bath cubicle wasn't too great, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay in an architecturally stunning city.
