Met our needs for a last minute one night stay, but wouldn't recommend for longer visits
Pros:

The reception staff were excellent. The luggage storage was easy to utilize upon check-out. The hotel was remarkably quiet given it's location in the most touristy part of PDC. Easy walking distance from the ferry pier and ADO bus station. The weather was crummy so we didn't visit the pool deck so can't report on that, or any of the onsite dining options.

Cons:

The rooms are dark and a little tired. Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, and we had no balcony for fresh air. For just one night it was okay, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer than that.

Een goed maar steenkoud hotel in de drukke touristenbuurt van Playa Del Carmen, vlakbij het strand.
Pros:

Ontbijt, locatie, kamer, hygiëne, fitnessruimte, privé parkeerplaats, zwembad.

Cons:

De Air Conditioning was vreselijk koud en kon niet bijgesteld worden, IJSKOUD 's nachts, hele hotel koud. Personeel nam de klachten niet serieus. Meerdere mensen hadden klachten. Dus neem een vest mee. Dus óf AC aan en ijskoud of AC uit en raam open, dan ietsje minder koud maar dan muggen.
We wilden omboeken naar het andere hotel The Fives, aan het strand, all inclusive, maar personeel wilde niet helpen daarbij, kreeg alleen het telefoonnummer.

Pros:

The location is a big highlight — very central and close to restaurants, shops, and the beach, making it convenient for exploring (we went in tours to Tulum, Chichen Itza & Xcaret during our stay). The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, with spacious rooms and an amazing rooftop pool.

Breakfast was solid with a good variety to start the day. Our room (Superior King room) faced the interior courtyard, and we had no trouble with noise. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Cons:

One thing to note: there is a 10 USD per night resort fee that we weren’t aware of before arriving. In addition, a refundable 5000 MXN deposit is required at check-in and can only be paid by credit card — this also wasn’t communicated to us in advance.

Cons:

Paid extra taxes and resort fees when we checked in, then on the day check out, the front desk person asked to pay again with bad attitude. Also, we asked for sewing kit and waited for more than 1 hour and get nothing, called again and still didn't receive it. I had to go to the hallway and random stop a cleaning lady and waited for 20 mins and finally received sewing kit. Bad customer service.

Double check your charges!!

The hotel was very nice and clean!

Cons:

There were a lot of discrepancies on prices. The hotel tried to throw in additional charges that I already paid booking.com for. Additionally they tried to charge me for breakfast when my breakfast was already included in my stay. I asked for the 1,800 MXN body scrub and instead they gave me the more expensive one. Additionally, the person above me was so loud that I did not sleep well both of the nights I was there. It was such a loud stomping and moving of furniture. I don’t know if I’d stay here again but it was a central location, downtown, close to a lot of food places, walkable and by the beach! There was also a mall in walking distance. I highly recommend knowing what and exactly how much you paid for everything via booking.com before checking out of the hotel! I attended a wedding and two other guests were over charged, one $250 USD for a resort fee! Another $60! I was not charged that much and one guest was told just to give them what she had in USD. If you decide to stay here, it’s not a bad stay but please be mindful of the charges.

Conforto do quarto, funcionários prestativos, excelente custo benefício das refeições no resturante do rooftop do hotel

Cons:

O preço estabelecido pelo booking dizia taxas e impostos incluídos, mas chegando na recepção fomos surpreendidos com mais de 1mil reais de cobranças a mais do valor mostrado pelo app: taxa ambiental e mais 10 dólares ao dia de mais uma taxa do hotel. Seria preciso o preço final já aparecer no aplicativo, a diferença é muito grande.

Good location and potential to be brilliant

Cons:

very tired property with lots of damage, needs a lot of upkeep. Also tried to use the pool and was faced with an additional charge to sit on a lounger which wasn’t great.
Staff tried to charge additional taxes that i’d already paid through booking and kept telling me i was wrong despite clear breakdown of what i’d already paid.

환기가 잘 되거나 해가 잘 드는 다른 방들은 문제 없었을거같지만, 내가 배정받은 방은 습기가 너무 많았고 해도 안들며 환기시스템도 잘 안되는 듯해서 눅눅한 냄새와 축축한 침구로 3일간 힘들었습니다.
