The beds and pillows were by far the best from their other KOKO hotel Ikebukuro.

Great stay at Shinsekai
Pros:

Front desk process was quick and efficient, which is much appreciated after a late flight. Standard amenities for short stays are available (if not in the room, at the lobby), even disposable chopsticks and spoons. Microwave and coin laundry are also available and there's a restroom at the lobby. Room cleaning is scheduled but towels are replaced daily. What I liked best is that the hotel turns their restaurant/breakfast area into a share space from 11:00 am onwards for free use of check-in guests. We usually brought back takeaway meals as we're already too tired to go out at night and it was great to have ample space to wind down and eat dinner. The hotel is right along the eateries of Shinsekai and near Tsutenkaku Tower but is surprisingly still quiet at night and in the early morning.

Cons:

Barely anything to find fault in, except the size of the room. Just like in most hotels in Japan, room was small. I've pretty much accepted this, of course, but the tiny space does affect one's overall perception of room comfort a bit.

Pros:

This hotel is conveniently located near Shinsekai and major train stations like Dobutsuen-mae and Shin-Imamiya. It includes a laundry area with detergent provided, and the hotel can also receive luggage delivery. The chat agent is very helpful and responds promptly to my inquiries. I left a pair of shoes at the hotel and contacted the agent, who fortunately kept them and delivered them to my friend’s house. I appreciate the hotel team’s honesty and trustworthiness. Thank you

Top convenience.
Pros:

Super convenient and well situated for transport links and food options. The free amenities are great!The bathroom was a delight.

Cons:

"views to nowhere" but this is normal for Japan. I would also offer the use of the washing machines for free as securing the change is not allways that easy

Great spot for Shinsekai, 10/10 location
Pros:

Great location for food, shopping, Dotonburi area, Don Quijote and station. Easy, clean, comfortable and kind staff, thank you!

Cons:

Would have loved more than 1 pillow for the price, and Netflix or smart TV would have been amazing
