Pros:

Positioned perfectly for the town, only a couple of minutes walk to the centre. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise outside our room, until after midnight. Certainly not the hotels fault. The staff were lovely, the room was clean, but a little bit dated.

O Restaurante é muito bom.

Cons:

Limpeza, aliás não tem limpeza. Os lenços estavam sujos, com manchas de sangue. Foi necessário praticamente implorar para limparem o quarto, e quando foram, o que já eram 18h, não levaram nem 5 minutos. Apenas trocam as toalhas e passam um pano úmido no meio do quarto, e foi assim em todos os dias de nossa hospedagem.
Funcionários muito mal humorados e ríspidos, principalmente quando era solicitado algum serviço, salvo o garçom espanhol do restaurante e a recepcionista da noite.
No final do dia fui até o bar solicitar gelo, e o funcionário que lá estava mal nos respondeu e ainda reclamou quando pedi para o gelo ser colocado em uma geleira.
No dia seguinte solicitei um prato com garfo e faca para comer uma maçã, foi uma dificuldade para eles fornecerem.
Ficamos bem decepcionados com o hotel.

Beware, currency conversion issues
Pros:

The hotel itself is perfectly fine - we had a pleasant two night stay. It’s an easy five minute walk to the old town, the rooms are clean, and there is ample underground parking.

However, our entire stay was soured by our checkout experience. The hotel seems to be running a dynamic currency conversion scam. We paid by credit card and were forced to pay in USD, accompanied by a hefty 6.89% markup fee. The receipt suggests we were given a choice - if by “choice” they mean the payment machine flashed the option of EUR or USD for five seconds, before proceeding to automatically charge us in USD. When we brought up the issue with the receptionist (who then escalated to a manager), we were given the following excuses:
- We were actually charged $30 EUR (when the receipt clearly indicated $37.38 USD).
- $30 EUR converts to $37.38 USD (when the receipt clearly indicated a 6.89% markup fee).
- We must have selected USD on the payment machine (untrue, as we did not have time to make a selection).
- The machine doesn’t give the option to pay in EUR for foreign cards (hence, a scam).

We asked to be refunded for the credit card transaction and to pay in cash instead. Surprise surprise, we were refunded directly in EUR with no markup fee returned. When we pointed out this discrepancy to the receptionist, she simply shrugged her shoulders. Luckily, our stay was prepaid in advance, so we were only paying for parking and city tax at checkout - a few dollars lost. If we had been paying for our entire room rate, it would have been a not insignificant markup.

The staff we encountered at checkout could be described as indifferent at best, a far cry from the friendly gentleman who helped us at check-in. Cannot recommend this hotel until they fix their currency conversion issue.

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Personal, zu empfehlen!
Pros:

Essen, egal ob Abendessen oder Frühstück, war hervorragend. Die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein, aber waren ok.
Hervorzuheben ist das gesamte Personal, welches äußerst zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und stets ansprechbar war. Der Abschied wurde uns besonders herzlich gestaltet durch die Mitarbeiterin vom Frühstücksbuffett. Diese hat mit jeden Gast ein bisschen geplaudert, absolut zuvorkommend behandelt und eine wunderbar freundliche Art, so dass man sich wirklich willkommen fühlt. Ein toller Mensch!

Hotel maravilhoso. Restaurante Castelo delicioso. No check-in nos deram um voucher de 20% de desconto para usar no restaurante e foi ótimo. O hotel é excelente. O uso da garagem custou 9€ por período. Füssen é linda.
