Pros:

Très bel immeuble et bien situé

Cons:

L’immeuble n’est pas bien entretenu.
La piscine ne fonctionne pas et des marques d’inondations aux plafonds sont fréquentés. La nourriture n’est pas excellente alors que le cadre ancien l’est !

tolle Lage

Cons:

Frühstück ist eher unterdurchschnittlich, Roomservice auch - einfache Bestellung bon Wasser brauchte mehrere Anläufe.
Ich bin absolut für das Sparen von Frottewäsche, jedoch ist ein Badetuch pro Person etwas gar wenig - mind ein zusätzliches Handtuch ist wünschenswert.

Friendly staff but inefficient service
Pros:

Beautiful architecture and the reception staff was friendly. They agreed to a late checkout as our flight was late night.

Cons:

Terrible housekeeping, the aircon in the room didn’t work and the temperature was set to 30 degrees and we had to call the maintenance person to fix it at 2.30 am, only got fixed after 3 am in the night. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely terrible service, the staff didn’t know basic things on the menu, kept coming back and saying things were not available. They gave us the bill before we were half way finished with our meal. Although the restaurant staff was friendly but wasn’t able to help with some basic information. Additionally, the pool was not functioning during our visit which was bit disappointing

Outside the hotel they had some strikes going on, so it was impossible to get cabs to the property. Consider long waiting times.

The front facade is the only thing that is beautiful... the rest is bad...

Cons:

First the hotel is OLD and shanty and their food is as old as the hotel... its cold, dry amd definitely not palatable!!! They don't charge cheap so it is very depressing to have that experience for that price. totally dont trust the photos!!! If you're expecting a hot shower you'll be disappointed.. we let the front desk know and promised to have it resolved in 15 mins and hours after tried calling them again promised to change our rooms where theres hot water running but never happened. There's more to say but i leave it at that.

Great Hotel, Stunning Building, Amazing Staff
Pros:

Stunning Hotel, reall old colonial vibe and lovely clean rooms with amazing shower.

Cons:

The surrounding area is a little far from the centre of Manila, so not great for walking to the shops, the hotel will arrange a Grab for you, however 😀

(not so happy) New Year's Eve staycation
Pros:

1. the staff were all very courteous, accommodating and very responsive to all our complaints.
2. parking was very spacious
3. nice and cozy lobby, hallways and interior design of the hotel was a breather.

Cons:

1. no cable tv during our stay and for a new year's eve staycation, if the hotel has no activity to offer like fireworks display or treat for their clients, at least a working cable tv is essential.
2. unfortunately, the elevator going to the swimming pool viewdeck was under maintenance, we have to take the 3-storey stairs to watch the fireworks over the metro.
3. no personal ref in the room
4. buffet breakfast has limited choices
5. towels need replacement

Location was great for seeing Rizal Park.
Pros:

The history was incredible.

Cons:

The kitchen was filthy and we were not served. The floor in front of the kitchen was so greasy that it was dangerously slippery. Then during breakfast they were painting the walls around the food.
