Pros:

The location was nice, the staff were good and spoke English well, the room was comfortable with a nice country style, the food in the restaurant was great and it also appeared as if they had a lot of amenities which I didn’t have the time to take full advantage of. Very nice place

A beautiful oasis
Pros:

The property was a beautiful, peaceful oasis. We especially enjoyed the children’s playroom where there was a staff member to play with the kids every day while the adults hung out at the bar (thank you Shushan, my kids loved you!).

I Know this hotel since the opening. Basically since 2003. it is one of my favorite place in Armenia. The area the style, the concept is amazing especially they added new fasilities which is great. The breakfast was very reach and beautifully set.

Cons:

We had a long unpleasant conversation with the director from the moment we entered the hotel until the day after we have left. First of all we received unpleasant welcome from him and the young receptionist. As I understood he was already planning to have such an unpleasant talk concerning payment and rates so they were waiting for our arrival. There is a long story which will be raised with the GM but we regreted that we have chosen this hotel. my previous experiences with them was uncamparable so I insisted my friends to stay here but as I understand the management have changed and not in a professional way...

Great first stop in Armenia to unwind before exploring the rest of the country.
Pros:

Cosy room, great place to relax off grid, pool and general facilities. Nearby restaurant is only close option, but food was excellent. Morning swims in the lake and mountain bike ride to next village were highlights. Babken and team were very welcoming.

Best comfortabel, maar nog niet helemaal bij de tijd
Pros:

Het hotel ligt op een heel rustige plek op het platteland. Lake Sevan is vlakbij, maar je kijkt er vooral naar. Erheen lopen zal al snel een half uurtje kosten. Je kunt een fiets huren. Heel veel is er uiteindelijk in het hotel niet te doen, maar het zwembad is erg aangenaam. De kamers zijn ruim, deels opgeknapt, maar nog steeds beetje verouderd.
Het restaurant ligt los van het hotel op 10 minuten loopafstand. Het biedt een aardig buffet, maar het is echt niets bijzonders.

Cons:

In de omgeving is niet veel te doen; al is het landelijke karakter best aangenaam. Daarom had ik iets meer luxe verwacht van de kamer en het restaurant. Maar het is toch een beetje vergane glorie en heel rechttoe rechtaan wat het eten betreft. Daarentegen: in Armenië zul je buiten Yerevan waarschijnlijk ook niet veel beters vinden.
