Always like staying at quorn Grange hotel. It has got a ffascinating history
Pros:

I liked the attention of the staff. The breakfast was satisfactory. the grounds have got great potential.

Cons:

The room could have done with a facelift, although I'm grateful that our room didn't have a glass walled shower like the new rooms have got. I wish someone had gone around the garden picking up the litter.

Pros:

Was a handy location for where we needed to be.

Cons:

Dirty tablecloths in the restaurant, sockets not working in the room and the shower was 2/3rds covered in black mould. And the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Which is not a good set up if you want to have the curtains open and youre on the ground floor!

good
Pros:

the room was comfortable and spacious with a lovey view of the garden

Cons:

the bathroom plumbing, especially the toilet which often ran and ran after flushing. No toilet brush meant that it was difficult to keep clean.

Very disappointing
Cons:

Very disappointing — and the complete lack of customer service afterwards has made a poor stay even worse.

Within hours of checking out, I realised I had left a pair of tracksuit bottoms in the room cupboard and returned to collect them. They had apparently disappeared. Reception promised to investigate and contact me the following day, but nobody did. I then complained in writing and asked the hotel to investigate what had happened. I have received absolutely no response — not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement.

I accept responsibility for leaving the item behind. What I find unacceptable is that it could disappear so quickly after checkout and that the hotel seemingly has so little interest in investigating or responding to a legitimate guest concern.

The stay itself was also very poor: the beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was virtually no privacy in the en-suite bathroom, and the soundproofing between rooms and corridors was terrible.

Mistakes and problems happen; how a hotel responds to them says a great deal about its standards. In this case, the silence and lack of accountability speak volumes.

I would definitely not stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it.

Worth a stay for £60 - £70, not worth the £92 I paid. EV charges do NOT work!
Pros:

Plenty of parking, easy to find. Comfortable bed with very large room for the price. When interacting with staff they were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Advertised car chargers were all non-functional, and seemed to have been for some time. Not their fault, it looks like people have reversed into them or they have been vandalised. That said they NEED to remove the option from their facilities listing.
I had to seek out staff both in the evening at the bar and in the morning for breakfast, on both instances waiting over 5 minutes for the receptionist to track them down.
Overall the hotel is tired and worn. No A/C in the room and the windows were sign posted that they should not be opened due to maintenance, the sign was quite worn, indicating that they had been that way for some time - my advice would be keep that room as a fallback - not as a primary supplied room.
Breakfast was mediocre, clearly good ingredients, but long warmed over sausages and beans - it was like a school dinner. Scrambled egg was very bland. Coffee was served from a vacuum flask and was luke warm and frankly gross.
