It was clean, comfortable room was very spacious and bathroom was lovely with both a shower and very large deep roll top freestanding bath we also went into the onside bar while drinks were quite expensive but no more expensive than the rest of blackpool it was a nice addition and pool table was a nice touch breakfast was served.buffet style and was plenty of choice available also had a lift
The parking was quite hard as only a few spaces out side the hotel and was quite a built up area with most spaces saying was private land and needed to pay to park
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I found the room clean and comfortable with plenty of tea beverages. They only do breakfast, however their happy for you to use the lounge area if you decide to have a take away and offering cutlery and crockery if needed. Situated in a good location near the airport with a 3- 5 minute walk to the tram transport. I will be using this hotel again.
When in my room, I could hear people having full on conversations outsidemy door. Maybe due to the gap under the door or the doors are too thin. But this did not affect my stay.
Room was spacious. Breakfast was lovely. Shower was a bit hit and miss for hot water.
Shower didn’t work properly
Lovely staff.so polite and helpfúl .room was spotless and spacious.breakfast was excellent.plenty of choice beautifully cooked.will stay again when staying in Blackpool.
Room was very nice and clean. Probably, one of the cleanest we've stayed in, in Blackpool.
Staff were very helpful. Bar was nice and a good size lounge.
It was just a bit too cold in the actual hotel, room was OK and warm enough. I know it was out of season and probably quiet. Would we go back.... yes, definitely.
The staff were warm and welcoming. Very friendly with our young kids. The room was nicely done with a very large bath and shower
Only faults are a slight damp patch in the corner had been remedied but not redecorated. And a little attention to detail in the bathroom missed. But very good for the price. £80 per night and breakfast for 4 included.
Blinds could do with being replaced room 22
As mentioned above nothing major at all
Clean and great staff
Sadley spoiled by idiots arguing but cant blame the staff out of there control but great if you just want to get away from everything for a while
The breakfast was excellent
Our room was too hot even though we turned the heating off strange comment I know but it was a bit uncomfortable
Apart from me booking a balcony and not getting. Staff hotel was ***
Bar 🍸 and you can order out and eat inside the bar 🍸 😋
The young lady that checked us in and was very pleasant, as was the gentleman on the bar.
The young lady also tried to rectify a few issues with the room and did her best to put things right (see below).
We stayed one night with 2 young children in room 16/17. The door was hard to open and stuck so you had to give it a shove. The bathroom door also got stuck and my 5 year old panicked when she couldn't get out. The radiator in the area with the double bed didn't work and there was no remote control for the TV in the same area.
I went to reception to mention the radiator and TV control and the lovely lady brought a remote control to our room. It was a very old one which was really dirty and had old dirty plasters on the back holding the battery compartment on.. She also left a portable heater out for us when we returned later that evening but it was a bit dangerous to leave it plugged in and trailing across the floor with 2 young children in the room. We appreciated that the lady tried to rectify the issues for us.
The only windows in the room were really high up and very small with a vertical blind. It felt very dark and depressing. The bedside lamp made a strange crackling noise and sounded like it might set on fire so we had to keep the spotlights on.
The shower gave a very slow flow of tepid water in the morning so showering was not a pleasant experience, especially as there was no heating in either the bathroom or sleeping area! I didn't bother attempting to wash my hair as I'm not convinced I'd have been able to rinse the shampoo away.
Unfortunately the night we stayed there was a very noisy pair of families staying together and both children and adults were causing a significant noise disturbance with shouting and running about between rooms until late. Another guest had clearly also had enough of it and proceeded to shout extremely loud obscenities telling them to shut the "f" up among other choice words. Not great when you have young children. (Even though we agreed with him!!)
I was actually afraid to leave the room and was concerned that it may escalate.
Located directly behind the pleasurebeach, close to sea front. Staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great, lots of choice available.
Onside bar is huge lots of tables and chairs etc, bar well stocked but doesn't serve hot drinks tea, coffee etc.
Property advertises free parking on site, this isnt the case. They have 5 spaces at the front of the hotel which is a first come first serve basis (would be helpful to know this in advance)
Strong smells of food throughout the hotel.
Shower broke midway through shower, the issue was resolved shortly after.
The blinds in the room were in need of updating and maybe some thick curtains adding, unfortunately the light coming in all night caused an unsettled night sleep. I can imagine this is much worse in the summer months! (Photos I have attached of the blinds and window, is taken around 11pm! As you can see, it looks like daylight!)
The room was amazing so much space had everything you needed and the bathroom was the same.
The room was lovely and warm we didnt feel cold at all.
The breakfast was lovely enough choice nice and fresh and delicious.
We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back.
