Perfect place to stay near the university in Coimbra.
Pros:

We stayed at Sapientia Boutique Hotel for one night. The location is perfect to visit the college. The hotel itself is nice. The courtyard is beautiful. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and good views. The staff were great. There was a welcome drink and wine in the evening. The food was good. I would definitely recommend.

Cons:

It is at the top of the hill, so quite a walk from downtown.

Loved the place, amazing location, excellent staff — it was a lovely hidden gem!
Pros:

Location was great and staff was excellent. The views of the city were magnificent!

Cons:

It was a little hard to get to by car but that is a fair tradeoff for the excellent location.

The ac was terrible!!!! We couldn’t sleep because it was too hot. We told the guy at the reception and he told us it’s fine and it’s the best it can do. If you are heat sensitive don’t come here
