We had an excellent stay. This was our second time there (first was in 2019 which was probably booked in my wife’s name
Pros:

Location, relative quiet. Staff attentiveness and service.

Cons:

We were in room 111. We paid a lot of money.
1. The bed could have been more comfortable than it was, surprisingly lumpy.
2. We were underneath the bar the first room on the wooden walkway. Very noisy when children run on the wooden boards as they did.
3. Monkeys are part of nature and were in their environment. However, the pool needs to be Ph tested, chlorine and other tested as the monkeys use the pool too. They also play, fornicate, urinate and defecate; all the more reason to chlorinate daily. I was advised this is done 2-3 times a week which is not good enough. Chlorine also evaporates in warm to hot climates.
4. The TV was not up to scratch. A Sharp aqueous is an old TV. For the money we paid I would be expecting an LG OLED or C6 OLED or similar (we don’t go on holidays to watch TV but for the money a cheap TV ought to have been provided.
5. I think there should be rails to assist one on the initial set of stairs which are quite steep and seem like an accident waiting to happen.

Très bien !
Pros:

Très bel hôtel , notamment les chambres qui donnent sur la piscine en longueur : spectaculaire ! Par contre les chambres sentent un peu l’humidité mais sans que ce soit embêtant . L’hôtel est très au calme et c est très appréciable !

Cons:

L’hôtel est hors du centre de ubud donc grab obligatoire en scooter car beaucoup de bouchons ! La carte du restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur des autres restaurants dans lesquels on peut dîner à ubud.

Ruhige schöne Lage mit Blick ins Tal, shuttleservice nach Ubud downtown, sehr leckeres Essen, geräumige Bungalows mit bequemem Bett und Moskitonetz sowie unglaublich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, welches sehr gut englisch spricht

Cons:

es gab nichts zu meckern, ausser das Krähen der Hähne vom Nachbargrundstück, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts und das passiert überall in Indonesien und dass es für indonesische Verhältnisse relativ teuer war, aber dafür hat man ein CHSE zertifiziertes Hotel, was bedeutet, dass bestimmte Hygiene- und Nachhaltigkeitsstandards eingehalten werden, welche von einem unabhängigen Unternehmen überprüft werden. Diese Zertifizierung ist freiwillig.

Jolie piscine à débordement donnant sur chaque chambre avec vue sur la jungle.
Très jolie décoration dans la chambre

Cons:

Trop d'escaliers sans rampe ni protection sur le côté. Espaces de terrasses sans garde corps très dangereux la nuit. A éviter avec des jeunes enfants pas aux normes par rapport à la France.
Moisissure dans la chambre. De plus la chambre donne sur un mur très étroit et très haut, très sombre, style prison.

The absolutely heaven in jungle!
Pros:

Hidden Paradise is truly a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to its name — a real hidden paradise in Ubud.

We stayed in the Premier Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and overall a wonderful room. The infinity pool right in front of the rooms is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views over the lush jungle. The whole setting feels incredibly peaceful and relaxing.

The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The food was very good, and we also really enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing massage area.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Hidden Paradise to anyone looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature.

Cons:

The only thing worth mentioning — not really a negative, just something to keep in mind — is the location. The hotel is not directly in Ubud center; it is approximately a 15-minute drive away. For us, however, the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere definitely made up for it.

A bad fit for me - if you're looking for a simple hotel, in an amazing location, thisis perfect.
Pros:

Staff on reception are wonderful
The location is truly tucked away in the jungle, with locals, temples, small shops and great walks outside the hotel.
The plunge pool in the room, surrounded by jungle, was a welcome refresh

Cons:

The food
As a solo guest for dinner, they couldn't find me a table; instead, I was sent to eat off a tray in the empty bar.
The bar isn't a bar btw - one type of wine throughout the hotel and no chance of olives, nuts etc
The steps - steep concrete steps without a rail - be warned there are plenty here!
