Staff was very helpful all friendly. the Lady who served Breakfast was helpful and pleasant very pleased with my stay.
I was very happy with my stay
Room very c0mf0rtable
Double shower
Bathroom spacious
Breakfast ecellent
Check in and staff very good. Room was a superior upgrade? No air con and bathroom window had a busted stay.
But the Breakfast was superbly presented and the food was plenty & very tasty. I had the Haddock & Poached eggs.
Nothing, but the room was very warm.
Everything about this hotel was perfect we couldn't have chosen a better place
Very comfortable food was excellent
Breakfast was outstanding, bed was really comfortable pillows were comfortable, the little touches in the room were lovely
N/A
Comfortable bed, modern, well equipped shower room, excellent breakfast and helpful staff.
Great central location in Kendal.
Pub like atmosphere with nowhere quiet to spread a map out.
Sticky tables in restaurant (being fixed after the wrong varnish was used).
Staff were friendly. Food was adequate. Location very good.
Room was smaller than expected and quite basic. Parking was too far away for people with disabilities having to carry cases etc.
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated.
The noise was horrendous. Granted the hotel is on a very busy square in the centre. The noise was right into the early hours then you had market traders setting up at 5am banging poles around and dragging cages up the square. It was not a restful relaxing place to stay. I had visited this place a few years ago and it was a pretty nice pub. Now it’s very tired and dirty looking. I didn’t find the bar and lounge area a nice place to be in. The bar staff and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was right up the top and we had lots of bags to go up a very narrow windy staircase no lift
Surprised me how nice the room was tbh. Good location in the town centre near all the pubs and bars.
Bathroom was a little basic and had an electric shower.
Lovely room, well thought out. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive.
There was nothing I didn’t like
very good breakfast cooked the way you ask them to wel done plenty variety
every thing spot on
