A short one night stay en route through to Austria
Pros:

We have stayed in the past it’s an excellent hotel super facilities. The staff are very nice. The restaurant is outstanding.

Ich war von meinem Aufenthalt in der Villa Hammerschmiede rundum positiv überrascht. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie großzügig und geräumig das Zimmer war.

Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Besonders toll fand ich, wie hundefreundlich das Hotel ist. In meinem Zimmer standen bereits Näpfe inklusive Unterlage und ein Hundebett bereit. Dazu hatte ich einen Balkon mit direktem Zugang zum großzügigen Garten und angrenzenden Wald – für eine Reise mit Hund wirklich 100 % perfekt. Besonders aufmerksam war auch, dass die Gästeverantwortliche gesehen hatte, dass ich mit meinem Hund reise, und mir deshalb ein Zimmerupgrade ermöglicht hat. Das ist wirklich außergewöhnlicher Service!

Das Hotel selbst hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Es erinnert ein wenig an die mondänen Hotels der 90er-Jahre in der alten Bundesrepublik. Sicherlich ist nicht alles hochmodern, aber genau das macht für mich den Charakter des Hauses aus.

Ich habe mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und für Hundebesitzer ideal – morgens konnte ich direkt vom Hotel aus eine große Runde durch den angrenzenden Wald drehen.

Für mich war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt und ich würde die Villa Hammerschmiede insbesondere auch für Reisen mit Hund jederzeit wieder wählen.

spontander Zwischenstopp auf Fahrt durch Deutschland mit Kindern
Pros:

Frühstück auf der Terasse im Garten. Toller Park in dem die Kinder spielen konnten. Schwimmbad (24 h geöffnet) war wenig besucht und bot eine tolle Beschäftigungsmöglichkeit.

Cons:

Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Hat uns nicht gestört, wer aber ein modernes Hotel erwartet ist hier falsch.

Man kann dort ein entspanntes und ruhiges Wochenende verbringen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen Wäldchen und ist sehr ruhig.
Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und versucht, jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen.

Cons:

Aufgrund der Lage des Hauses im Wald sind die Zimmer von zahlreichen Motten belagert. Das Personal versucht jedoch, um diesen Zustand zu milden. Die Zimmer sind konservativ, ausgestattet; das Bad ist jedoch modern eingerichtet.
