The rooms were very clean and it was very quiet at night housekeeping very attentive overall the hotel was very nice ins

Great location and views, but needs a room refresh and better front desk staffing.

Great location, beautiful views, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful valet staff and restaurant staff.

Cons:

Rooms are due a refresh. The furniture is showing its age and the window shades are barely functional. Laundry facilities were difficult to find since the were not adequately labeled and the machines only take quarters. There is no change machine, and the front desk isn’t able to make change. Who the hell carries $5 in quarters these days? The front desk was not adequately staffed during peak check in hours. There was only one person working the desk and she was not friendly, welcoming, or helpful. She neglected to give us our free breakfast vouchers or welcome champagne. I was willing to chalk that up to her being overwhelmed by the check in line, but we saw her later and she still wasn’t friendly or welcoming. Rooms could do with an information book that lists where ice machines and laundry facilities are as well as other amenities like the free coffee in the lobby since the staff did not share that information at check in. Restaurant is open for breakfast daily, but only open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Again, this was not clearly communicated prior to or at check-in.

Comfortable and convenient spot in the heart of Asheville
Pros:

Big, bright and beautiful room...beds were very comfortable. The parking valet team was awesome: very kind and helpful. The little shop in the lobby was convenient, and it was thoughtful of the manager to comp one bottle of sparkling water when I noted that it had not been charged on checkout.

Cons:

The bluetooth connection in the bathroom that randomly blurted out unintelligible messages was unnerving in the beginning and somewhat annoying after that. The luggage carts are pretty unwieldy and difficult to steer, but a godsend for getting stuff to the room given the absence of bellpersons. The shades in the room were a bit worn and coming off their tracks in some places, but did the trick for managing daytime sun and nighttime city lights.

Nice hotel, but for $350 Friday and $400 Saturday for a single night, is outrageous.

The hotel was fine, but for the price, it was outrageously expensive. Apparently, there were conferences and weddings in town, and the price was driven up.
