It was a very New Orleans vibe hotel ! The ambiance and atmosphere was great . The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable! The staff was helpful and gave great suggestions! Thank you James for your help and hospitality!
Thank you Cambria! Mr.Lionel in valet deserves a raise! He’s an asset and we will be back! Cheers :)
Moe was an excellent valet, very knowledgeable and helpful!!
Great hotel, the staff was great, especially the guy at the front desk - he was very welcoming and his name started with J. When requesting any items, they brought it up immediately. Everything was very clean and they took out trash once daily. When requesting valet, Jaedon and all the other staff was on point with pulling the car up in a timely manner.
Location and lobby great for photo opportunities
Clean but could be cleaner. Probably understaffed. Valet was more than noted on booking site but efficient
Valet was great. Hotel was great!
I had a great experience staying at the Cambria Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and well-organized.I want to give a big thank you to Braylon, in valet, who was incredibly friendly and efficient he made our arrival so smooth. I also want to recognize James (aka the man with the hat) at the front desk for his excellent customer service. He was professional, helpful, and made sure all my questions were answered.
Location, price, parking, shower, staff, cleanliness
Lack of lighting and exhaust in the bathroom. The beds were a bit too firm for our taste, but we slept fine.
Great stay would recommend to anyone
Housekeeping and internal communication could use improvement. During our two-night stay, the room wasn’t serviced as requested on the second day—the bed wasn’t made, and none of the items I requested at the front desk that morning (coffee, creamers, extra body lotion, and a blanket) were delivered.
This seems like an opportunity to strengthen coordination between the front desk and housekeeping teams, or provide additional training to ensure guest requests are consistently followed through.
Otherwise, I would have given a perfect 10. The front desk staff is great, the hotel is clean, and the room is beautiful.
My stay at the Cambria was amazing! Valet was a breeze. I appreciated the help from the valet guy named Dennis. He gave me good recommendations of places to eat and lots of fun things to do.
We stayed 5 nights during jazz fest; our room had an interesting couch which was unusual and comfortable, a king size bed, refrigerator, safe, decent area for hanging clothes, but not much storage space. It worked for us. Room was quiet with good AC. Very limited room cleaning (one day) which was actually a plus. Great location to get uptown, mid town, to jazz fest and for walking to Business, Warehouse, French Quarter. Good coffee shop nearby. Good front desk. Less than half the price of a tired room at the place with the Sit and Spin Bar.
I traveled to New Orleans with a group of college students for our annual Cultural and Educational Enrichment Tour, and one of the best parts of our tour was staying at the Cambria. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were greeted with smiles and exceptional hospitality.
The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, making it easy to walk to many of the main attractions and staples of New Orleans. I want to give a special thank you to Kayla, Sharon, and Lionel for making our experience truly memorable. They were top-tier in executing excellent service and creating a wonderful stay for our group.
I would absolutely rate this hotel a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
Great attentive staff as well as being a clean and safe ( still need to use your common sense ) hotel and location. Walking distance from the WW2 museum and the French Quarter, as well as some great restaurants around the area. Did not like the fact when we had to eat here for breakfast, due to time restrictions, they tacked on a 20% tip for an INDIVIDUAL bill when paying with CC. Not once did our group of 4 have any “tip add one” at the other breakfast or dinner restaurants in the area, let alone a single check? There is so signage indicating their intentions, and if we didn’t have to catch our flight, we would have fought it, or had eaten elsewhere in the many great places in Nola. Also, when paying cash, the attendant in the morning, or bartender in the late afternoon, did not seem to have sufficient if any change on them. There are still those who’d rather not put everything on their room incidental charges! Bottom line, eat and drink elsewhere if possible.
