Nice apartments in rental building

Pros:

Safe neighborhood. Clean and quiet environment except construction site nearby it

Cons:

Toilet seat had screws that were loose. Informed them to fix it but they did not see it quickly.

No heaters in the rooms when it is very cold.

For me personally my stay here was great. Very clean and the place has tons of room. The pictures are true 👍

I previously stayed at Cozy in 2018 and it was great, so I expected the same this time in 2024. The apartment we stayed at was run down, with water stains and paint peeling off the walls; water from the showers flooded the floors outside the showers; the washer/washing machine was filthy, not even a single complimentary pod or a little laundrry detergent was provided to get one started; the showers did not have hot water, which was eventually fixed but at great inconvenience to us.

On one of the colder nights I requested an extra sheet or comforter. They declined saying it was their policy that guests could only use what had already been provided and wouldn't make any accomodations, yet there wasn't even a top sheet on the beds - just a fitted sheet and comforter.

Overall it was not a pleasant experience and I would not stay here again, and will advise others not to stay here either.

Pros:

The property is just what you are looking for if you are travelling to Kenya for the first time as a foreigner and are looking for a safe and comfortable environment to stay. There is 24hr security at the gate checking on any vehicles entering and leaving the property to ensure safety, and there is also 24hr desk clerk there to assist if you need anything at anytime.

Another great touch was that the property is also serviced and cleaned every other day, which I was not aware of, but was a very pleasant surprise :)....

The property is spacious and fully furnished with modern décor, which was nice and cozy.....


All round a great stay.....

It's cheap and very quiet.
Pros:

The apartment was huge. Extremely spacious but sparsely furnished. It was really good value for money for the size of the apartment. The place has enormous potential.

Cons:

The wi-fi was not working so we had to hotspot off our cellphones. The buildings are empty for long periods of time. I could tell this from the brownish water coming out of the water pipes into the tub or when we took showers. There is hardy any staff running the place. We were attended to by one person who checked the booking online and showed us to the room. There were no options for breakfast so we left in the morning and had breakfast at a Java nearby. The apartments need a refresh, little things like light fittings, taps, and the like, art work, better furniture and carpets.
