Categories

Cleanliness
8.8
Multiple guests report very clean rooms and daily housekeeping, though a few isolated issues were mentioned (bathroom smell, one towel with bad odor), so overall cleanliness is strong but not perfect.
Service
9.2
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and going above and beyond; a small number of frontline service issues noted (one rude receptionist), but overall service is a clear strength.
Location
9.4
Consistently praised for central, convenient location with easy access to multiple subway stations, LIRR, nearby Target and transit to major attractions — a major positive for most guests.
Room Quality
8.1
Rooms are generally clean, comfortable and in some cases spacious for NYC; several guests noted small rooms, occasional noise from the highway (mitigated by double glazing) and isolated odor issues, so room quality is good but mixed.
Amenities
7.8
Basic useful amenities present (on-site parking, proximity to stores) but some guests noted missing in-room items (no microwave, no complimentary bottled water, bar soap instead of liquid), limiting the amenities score.
Value for Money
7.2
Perceived as somewhat expensive (typical NYC pricing) by several guests despite included breakfast and solid service; value is acceptable but seen as pricey by many.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast is included and frequently praised for quality and variety, though a few guests found it simple or requested additional options (hot cereal); overall F&B is a positive feature.
Overall Experience
9
Most guests report a positive, even delightful stay with friendly staff, cleanliness and great location contributing to an enjoyable New York experience; a few minor negatives did not outweigh the positives.

Breakfast area is small, no seats avaliable during the breakfast time
Pros:

Rooms were clean, the location is great with metro stations very close, the breakfast was standard, the only thing that is was overcrowded and no seats were available. In general fine hotel
