Corpo Santo Historical Hotel is an absolutely fantastic hotel. We loved everything about this hotel. All the staff we came across were amazing. Special thanks to all in the Restaurant in the morning and the Front Desk during the day. All the staff are engaging, friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay memorable.
Our room was beautiful. We will miss the space, the perfect air conditioning , the spotless cleaning and of course the magnificent shower. It was wonderful to return to each day.
It is unfair to single out any staff but we loved Jose’s passionate wine tastings. Ana , her walking tours, enthusiasm and presence in the hotel. John , our first encounter when we checked in and our last, shaking our hands. He is everywhere. An incredible asset to the hotel.
All the breakfast staff were excellent, patient and attentive.
We look forward to our next stay.
Gerai.
Restoranas.
Great facilities and the staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, rooms were a good size and location was very good.
Centrally located luxury hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and offered many special individualized services. For example room upgrades at no extra cost, reception staff escorting us to our room, delivery of port and a fruit basket on the first night, turn down service nightly with chocolates, free minibar. Breakfast is a combination buffet and ordering from a menu at no extra cost. Excellent concierge services.
Room prices a little on the high side.
Le personnel très agréable et aux petits soins
Notre chambre etait sombre et mal isolée phoniquement, on entendait beaucoup la rue jusqu’à 3h du matin . La literie n’était pas à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles. Matelas trop mou.
We had a lovely time at the hotel and highly recommend it. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, are good at their jobs and are the nicest we’ve met in hotels.
Our room was good, the hotel itself is very clean, modern and has a few surprises which made a great holiday.
We also did two walking tours, wine tasting, yoga and cocktails which were included with our stay. The walking tours are well worth doing with a great guide, the yoga class was excellent, and we really enjoyed the wine tasting too.
Food was great, we loved the breakfast choices with all the standard food but additional choices such as eggs and avocado, açai bowl and a fruit juice trolley each day.
There are many restaurants in the area but I had a delicious Niçoise salad with fresh tuna for lunch in the hotel, one of the best I’ve had. If we were there longer we’d have definitely tried dinner too.
The hotel is in a great location, near to the train station, Time Out market, main tourist areas, waterfront, and a few minutes from the tram.
We went to a Fado show, money museum, did a tram ride, visited Belém on the train, and walked around a lot just enjoying the area.
We stayed 3 nights, We would happily return.
1 night stay before driving to Porto. Staff were great, upgraded to a superior room which was very nice and huge.
Everything in the mini bar was complimentary, we popped out for a stroll and when we returned there was a charcuterie board and bottle of port waiting for us, this was probably the best board we had during our time in Porto and Lisbon, many of which cost well over €25.
Breakfast was really good, all pastries and fruits were on your own table rather than buffet style & you can order from the kitchen, French toast was amazing.
Only downside was we didn’t massively enjoy the restaurant, soups were a little flavourless thickened massively with cornflour and I’ve had much better octopus, not the softest but I wouldn’t mark down the actual hotel for this, generally there are much better places to eat than the hotels where you stay and the cocktails in the bar were really good, staff in the restaurant were also very friendly.
Wish we had more time here, would definitely book again for a longer stay.
Overall I wouldn’t fault this place, brilliant location right by the river, lovely clean hotel and great staff.
I arrived in Lisbon mid afternoon for a business event on the river. My VA had booked me into Docas Hotel at my request as it’s on the dock.
Imagine my horror to find it’s not open yet!
My event was in an hour, my phone was running out of battery and I was hot and stressed!
I called the hotel and the director couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. She found my booking ( for Feb 27) and booked me into the sister hotel.
I arrived late afternoon my event to discover I had been upgraded.
I work with the Hospitality Sector on a regular basis and this is another example of what they do, customer experience delivered effortlessly.
Huge thank you!
Everything else. It was near perfect
The carpets in the room are very dated and either need replacing or cleaning
The best hotel I’ve stayed in, we didn’t want to leave
The location is extremely convenient but it may not be so family friendly at night
We stayed for three nights and loved this boutique hotel. It’s the small touches that make Corpo Santo special, such as the walking tours, classes, soft serve and snacks in the lobby, the free minibar, having a to-go breakfast box ready for an early flight, and the small treats left in your room. We also enjoyed the party the hotel hosted on the eve of Saint Anthony’s Day, it was a fun and memorable experience.
The staff is warm, friendly, and very helpful. In addition to the other touches, the staff makes this hotel great. We had a Superior Room, which was spacious and well appointed—the showers are pretty cool. Our kids stayed in a Classic Room, which was smaller but comfortable.
The location is ideal, close to many of the major sights, the waterfront, and the local train station. Ubers are relatively inexpensive. Also, make sure to checkout the excavated basement—it’s a unique sight.
Staying at Corpo Santo made our visit to Lisbon even more special. Thank you! 🙏🏼
I've stayed in multiple 4 and 5 star hotels across Lisbon, but this one really is wonderful. Impeccably clean, quiet (even though the hotel is very close to Pink Street, room was silent) wonderfully attentive staff, lots of thoughtful complimentary treats such as apples, nuts, biscuits on each floor (by the lifts) .. the spa is relatively small but well appointed and clean. I'll certainly be back.
The best hotel in Lisbon. Attention to detail by staff and always helpful. A special thank you to Christopher during breakfast that welcomes us and having a chat.
Everything was perfect.
I would rate my stay as 10/10. It was probably one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I am a frequent traveller who stayed at various luxury hotels around the world. The room was big. The bed was amazingly comfortable - the BEST hotel bed ever. The bathroom was beautiful with marble floors equipped with double sinks and a sensorial shower. I loved taking showers there daily. The corridor smells amazing. The room smells fantastic. There are snacks The room was also very quiet despite being in a very busy part of town. The breakfast was amazing (except for the grumpy waitress who took our order). The food selection was phenomenal and the quality was fantastic. The staff were amazing. Polite, professional and helpful. They also upgraded us to a bigger room which we were so so thankful as we just arrived after a long overnight flight from Canada. The hotel was also situated near the waterfront away from the busy streets. Beautiful location. We are so glad we picked this hotel and we cannot wait to return!
My only criticism would be that the spa is very small and could use an upgrade. The sauna and steam room is not very private.
This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Lisbon's historic area.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed and valued. The room was so spacious with plenty of storage and very quiet. We were shown to our room by the friendly and very helpful gentleman that checked us in, my apologies I have forgotten his name.
Breakfast was delicious with many items made to order and the staff were so accommodating of any changes we made, like when we requested extra berries and bananas. Breakfast is served in a unique way at this hotel, it's personalised and unhurried, the food was always so fresh. All the staff at breakfast were fabulous, so friendly and they remembered our orders as we stayed here for 6 nights.
There were always delicious snacks and bottles of water etc in the lobby for guest and each afternoon small treats are delivered to your name. These small unique touches really make this hotel special.
The hotel is close to many restaurants, bars and cafes and the front desk staff were always so helpful with any small requests we had.
We took advantage of the free walking tour that hotel offers, WOW! It was so informative and gave an exceptional insight to the history of Lisbon and the hotel. Our guide was wonderful!
We had a very early flight on the day of our departure and the staff and gone to the trouble to prepare a breakfast take away meal for us with sandwiches, fruit, juice and yogurt and pastries, this was so thoughtful.
This is a truly wonderful hotel, the staff are amazing!
Thank you to everyone at the Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel for making our first visit to Lisbon a truly special one.
