Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel

Corpo Santo was by far the best hotel I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many five star hotels. I cannot gush enough about how much I enjoyed the amenities the hotel offered. The room was comfortable and provided a “pillow menu.” Mini bar drinks were included. The shower had unique lighting with accompanying relaxing soft music. Turndown service and cushiony slippers were provided.

A hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath were available to guests as well. A beautiful and unique sitting area was available below ground that showcased an ancient foundation uncovered during the construction of the hotel.

But the best parts were the plentiful snacks provided at all hours, the excellent restaurant, and the complimentary activities. There was a free two hour walking tour each day with a knowledgeable hotel employee (Sergio) who rivaled any tour company. In the afternoon, I participated in wine tastings, a gin tasting, cheese tastings, and a chef demonstration in the kitchen of salmon preparation with a tasting. There was a cocktail hour in the lobby every day with a cocktail of the day and appetizers.

The breakfast that was included in our stay was phenomenal. The breakfast was not a buffet but rather attentive table service with plentiful options. They served the best Eggs Benedict I ever tasted. All of the delicious breakfast offerings exceeded expectations.

The dinner at the restaurant was outstanding as well and we received a discount as hotel guests.

On our last day when we had to leave before breakfast, the hotel packed us a delicious breakfast with juice, yogurt, fruit, a sandwich, bread, and chocolate mousse, even though there was breakfast in the lobby. The hotel staff were so generous, attentive, and kind. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the hotel during activities. So much was included in our stay and we were thoroughly comfortable and entertained.

I was sorry to leave but look forward to returning to Lisbon just to stay at Corpo Santo again. Thank you to the hotel staff for a memorable vacation!

Everything about the hotel is perfect, from the staff, to the rooms, to spa, to the amenities, etc. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us, made check in a breeze, and brought our bags to our room. We were given a tour of the hotel and all the features it offered. The next day, we went on the free guided tour they offer twice a day to get our bearings. The staff made sure the room was cleaned perfectly and even included turndown service, helping creating the perfect atmosphere. Truly an unforgettable experience. 10/10. My only complaint is we had to leave.

Very friendly and efficient staff. It is almost unfair to single those who deserve especial praise ... but we have to mention Ana (Concierge?) and Tomas (Bistro manageress?) for their professionalism

I'm so glad I chose this hotel- the nicest welcome and really wonderful service. The room was very nice- beautiful bedding and great a/c - loved the hallway wallpaper. Special thanks to Paolo, who went above and beyond - we had asked him how to get money that night, and he offered to walk us to an ATM he trusted. When we got there, the machine did not work for my USA card, nor for my friend's Canadian card. Paolo then offered for us to transfer money to him, and then he would get it from the machine for us. It worked! This was so nice- incredibly kind.
The other man who was memorable was Christopher in the breakfast restaurant. Besides being so funny, he had great service and kind delivery. We missed him the last morning of our stay.
The location is great for walkers, and we loved our trip to Lisbon. Thank you.

This hotel totally lived up to expectations. It is spotless, spacious room, fantastic breakfast, lots of little extras & endless treats in the lobby area. The staff and service were the best I have seen in a long time. I will definitely return if I am back in Lisbon. It is really excellent

Staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel was just amazing. The spa was lovely, and all the free additional offerings (including daily drinks, walking tours, tasting sessions) were amazing. We had a brilliant time in Lisbon and would definitely recommend Corpo Santo to anyone visiting.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful location. The bedroom was spacious and very well appointed, the staff were very professional and helpful. Fab stay.

My wife and I have traveled the world. This was one of the top three hotels we have ever stayed at our life. The location was fantastic, staff was great, and breakfast was awesome. When we returned to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again again.

We were offered and took the city tour. Hotel has cool lounge featuring ruins of the 15th century and older. Food always available and excellent. Comfortable beds. Spa-like shower.

Excellent location within walking distance of all the sights or transport to the sights and plenty of food places.
Staff were wonderful and friendly, I was
Travelling solo with an infant and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Anna, the concierge, did a great walking tour.
Enjoyed the snacks in the afternoon and fresh fruit in the lobby plus the evening cocktail. Breakfast was also good, table service and a good choice of dishes. Nice detox juices :)
