Ruhige Lage mit einigen Annehmlichkeiten
Pros:

Geräumiges Zimmer, angenehm kurzer Weg zur Rooftop-Bar mit kleinem Pool, Liegen und toller Aussicht. Dort ist ein Raucherbereich, selten in Mexico. Ruhige Lage, trotzdem nur 1 km ins Zentrum. Strandbar mit Frühstückangebot und den üblichen Strandbar-Speisen (Tortillas, Burger, Wedges etc.) direkt nebenan. Die gleichen Gerichte werden auch in der Rooftop-Bar serviert. Personal ganz überwiegend freundlich und bemüht. Grosse Dusche, zusätzliches Daybed als Schaukel. Insektengitter an Balkontür und Fenster. Klimaanlage gut. Kühlschrank unerwartet groß ("normaler" Kühlschrank statt Minibar).

Cons:

Bei immerhin rund 150 Euro pro Nacht ohne Frühstück hätte ich mangels Aufzug erwartet, dass Hilfe für das Tragen der Koffer angeboten wird, Treppe in den 2. Stock ist eng und steil, das war bei An- und Abreise doch recht beschwerlich. Meerblick etwas getrübt durch den unschönen vorgelagerten Hof des Golden Paradise. Wofür das Hotel nichts kann: Braunalgen, wenn auch nicht so intensiv wie an der Küste südlich Cancun. Man musste, um in Hotelnähe ins Meer zu gehen, eine weniger befallene Stelle suchen, was aber in einem Bereich von ca. 100-200 m möglich war. Zum Teil grosse Steine/Betonplatten im Brandungsbereich, unbedingt Badeschuhe anziehen! Es schwimmt sich schöner am Hauptstrand, beginnt in ca. 1 km Entfernung. Zimmersafe funktionierte nicht, allerdings haben wir nicht um Abhilfe gebeten, da auch in den vorherigen Unterkünften auf unserer Rundreise kein Safe funktionierte und wir uns daher schon gewöhnt hatten, die Wertsachen mitzunehmen.
"Unterm Strich" trotz dieser Kleinigkeiten ein schöner Urlaub, ich würde dieses Hotel durchaus wieder buchen.

Très déçu par le petit déjeuner et le serveur
Pros:

Le roof top, la chambre, le balcon, l'endroit du petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner un peu léger et surtout, le serveur qui parle de tips au moment de servir, le premier matin. Et le deuxième matin, nous n'avons pas eu le verre d'hibiscus qui a été servi à toutes les autres tables ! Pas cool... le serveur du jeudi et du vendredi n'a pas été correct et pas agréable. Aussi, le petit déjeuner était servi dans l'hôtel d'à côté.

Prachtige plek om tot rust te komen en tegelijkertijd te genieten van wat het eiland te bieden heeft.

Belle suite vue sur l’océan, hôtel calme et bien placé à seulement 15/20min à pied du centre.

The pool even though I didn't used it.

Cons:

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Spirit Hotel in Holbox. The property feels very old and poorly maintained, with interiors that clearly haven’t been updated in a long time. The windows were dirty, making it difficult to even see the so-called “sea view” that is advertised.

The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. One of the biggest issues was the constant noise from external air conditioning units of a neighboring hotel - a loud humming sound that was clearly audible even inside the room, making it hard to relax.

Service was also underwhelming. No one even offered to help carry luggage, which is unacceptable considering the price is over $100 per night, especially for such a remote location.

There is no private beach, and even basic necessities like bicycles - which are essential for getting around the island - are not included and come at an extra cost.

The surrounding area is honestly quite depressing, with many abandoned hotels nearby, giving the whole place a neglected and unattractive atmosphere.

Overall, this hotel is overpriced and does not deliver what it promises. I would not recommend staying here.

Le point fort de cet hôtel est sa vue et sa piscine rooftop mais le confort et la propreté du linge ne sont pas du tout

L’emplacement, la vue depuis la piscine

Les oreillers sentaient extrêmement mauvais (couleur jaunâtre une fois les taies enlevées).
Les piscines n’étaient pas propres.
Remontées (odeurs) très fortes dans la salle de bains
Prix excessif pour une suite dite parentale avec autant d’inconvénients
