Overall good with a couple of unexpected unfortunate experiences.
Pros:

Bed and breakfast.

Cons:

The shower faucet was backwards. The hot was cold and the cold was hot. Took me 15min to figure it out. Also, a couple of rooms around us were loud throughout the night. I only slept 4 hours the second night. We’ve been to this hotel previous times and loved it. This was a disappointment.

Location was ideal. Good breakfast. Clean and nice.
Pros:

Property was clean and nice like all the Holiday Inn Expresses we stay at. Close enough to downtown but far enough we felt safe and out of the busy area. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Staff wasn’t as welcoming as we’re used to but nice enough.

Cons:

The foreigner in charge at my arrival misinterpreted my expressing frustration with Amtrak's late arrival like I was frustrated with him and he misconstrued the significance of what I was expressing, Language barrier. From that point on it was a bad experience with him!
