Sidra Pristine Hotel & Portico Halls

Excellent

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family and was impressed by the ambiance. The hotel was clean, and the staff were exceptionally supportive. The food was also very good. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, making it one of the best budget hotels in Kochi.

Nice place

I had to book a last-minute overnight stay because of a flight change. There were few available hotels for one night within an hour's Uber ride. This one seemed ok.

Close to a metro station which made the street very busy but convenient in using uber.
No bar facilities in Hotel, but dining was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Sidra pristine. The room was beautiful & spacious. the location was just great not far from hospitals.
Hotel staffs were very kind & helpful too.
Just one problem we had, some rooms were renovating & due to dust, i fell sick during our stay.
Over all everything was perfect, the way we wanted.
Surely will visit next time.

Good location for Ernakulam town station, good air conditioning and nice little roof top pool. Lots of places to eat nearby but we also used hotels restaurant which was v good and cheap too. Wi-Fi hit n miss but ok.
Rooms getting tired but comfortable bed and helpful staff.

We were really pleased, some reviews were bad, unsure why but for us it was great. Check in really helpful, big clean room with v comfortable bed, good air con kettle and tea/coffee. Small rooftop pool but great to cool down and swim some lengths.

Good breakfast choice of Indian or eggs as omelette or scrambled, brown bread 👍 nice coffee plus cereals we were very pleased with it. Is only 4 minute flat walk to Ernakulam town station. There’s a hotel with bar for beer 5 mins away and plenty of Indian and western style restaurants nearby.

We are booked to stay again when we get back as so pleased with it, for the price it’s great.

Only downside is patchy Wi-Fi

We have taken the family room as we were total 5 members. The room was very clean , it was spacious with balcony too. You cannot smoke in room but you can in balcony. The view from hotel is nice. It is near to Ernakulam town railway station. By auto it will take 5 min to reach at hotel. The food was good , the staff behaviour was very good. They also provide the cab service to munnar and near sightseeing places.

On arrival you are greeted by a friendly concierge which helps you with your luggage. I arrived earlier than check in tho did some work in the very comfortable lobby out of the days heat. Reception staff were very kind, happy and helpful.
This establishment has style.
Rooms are basic and affordable with comfortable beds and pillows.
The only let down was the view from balcony.
I was just looking at rubbish which wasn’t appealing at all.

The pool area was filthy, poor internet connection, I had to ask for for room to be cleaned, surrounded by local hostels, garbage everywhere and when I asked for a late checkout on departure the manger was going to charge me for an extra day. However he reversed his intentions if I gave a favorable review of google.

The check-in experience with one of the staff members called as Mr.Jinu was extremely unpleasant. He asked whether I wanted to do advance or full payment to which I replied that I would prefer doing that during checkout as I would order food and other services and would pay combined for that. And the same is followed by many other hotels including 4 star hotels in the city. Even though this was a corporate booking done via Yatra for business, the staff person didn't know that and was asking for amount higher than what was mentioned on the tax invoice hotel voucher. He had to call another staff to recheck the amount and finally admitted that the amount on the hotel voucher with me was correct. After this the staff person suddenly changed and insisted that I pay the full payment only. The treatment I received was as if I would run away without payment. He kept on repeating - "it's hotel rule". Upon asking where the hotel rule is written or documented in your hotel policy, he had no answer and suddenly insisted that I cancel the booking. I was appalled at this kind of behaviour and treatment by a staff who works in a hospitality industry who treats customer in a hostile manner. Please do your research about the rules here. If anything is declared as a "rule" or a policy, do ask for proof of its document. When I insisted on calling the manager, the manager said I could do payment in parts which was fine. But staff people treating people like theives is NOT OKAY. If hotel people are reading this review, kindly check the recording of the camera at your reception. Treating people like thieves when you are in hospitality industry is not at all okay. Hotel people should really pay attention to the reviews on Google page regarding treatment by staff. The lowest rating for this hotel have been mostly given for staff behaviour. They should train the staff to be more professional.

Loved the room service, food, and swimming pool very much. It is decent and good for a vacation. Nice staff with mouth watering food. Centrally located. Had a great booking experience too. Shall revisit.

Tried for booking and spoke multiple time to the reservations and provided the required details in wats app but they promised to call back but never did.
Very bad experience as I dont have a booking having been dependent on this hotel.
The inital experience itself has made me reluctant to book in this hotel.

We had a lovely stay with family in this beautiful hotel “SIDRA PRISTINE” at SRM road Kochi. It is very close to Ernakulam North( Ernakulam town ) . Nidheesh was the staff at reception who helped us with the check in process. We stayed in a family suite A/C which had 2 bedrooms one with en-suite and other bedroom with a toilet. Rooms very very clean, toilets and bathrooms were in great condition. The balcony was beautiful and made sure that you get plenty of day light and the view was amazing. Room service was excellent and the staff were courteous and helpful. Our baggages were taken care of. They provided airport drop service through a third party. It is not far from Lulu mall and other shopping centres in Kochi. You have great access by metro , taxi and buses. The location will never remind you of busy city life, as it’s set up in a green environment. I was on a short stay so never had a chance to use swimming pool. But one thing is for sure, I’m going to recommend it to my friends and family for a comfortable stay in kochi for a great price .

We had a pleasant stay at sidra. Our stay was good and we enjoyed it. Ambiance of the hotel is good and the service was good breakfast buffet was good with limited items. Overall our stay was memorable. Special thanks to nitheesh who helped from the reservation to throughout our stay .
