Athena Pension

The staff was amaizing, the manager open the door for me at 6.30am when wasn't yet checking time. He's also very friendly with the guests..good convesation and good turkish cafe. I really recomend Athena Pension... This pension has also big garden to rest after visiting the touristic areas also is well located in an peaceful area, no noise from the street.
And close, there is small restaurant for breakfast with friendly staff and turkish breakbast and cheap. And also close to minibus station to Izmir. 10/10

Beautiful property and great accommodations. Would highly recommend to others. Bergama is a great city and Athena Pension provided a wonderful jumping off point to see all the sights.

Très belle pension dans un quartier tranquille avec un grand jardin arboré, cuisine à disposition , grand salon séjour pour se détendre, café et thé à disposition.
Grande chambre confortable ainsi que la literie.propre et jolie.
Wifi excellent et possibilité de se garer à l'intérieur.

마당도 예쁘고 전통가옥인데 집안도 깨끗하고 깔끔해서 편안하게 잘 쉬다가 왔습니다. 주변에 식당과 슈퍼도 가까이 있어서 편했고 주변 관광지도 걸어서 다닐수 있습니다. 또한 친절하고 웃는모습이 넘 멋진 사장님께 감사드려요. 따로 신청해서 먹은 아침식사도 맛있었어요.

Super endroit pour passer la nuit à Bergama. Le propriétaire est adorable et vraiment aidant.

Tarihi dokuda yer alan yenilenmiş tarihi yapıda konaklamak, Bergama'da konakladığımızı hissettiren bir deneyim sağladı. Avlusu, bahçesi, odaları gayet iyiydi. Sadece banyolar biraz daha konforlu hale getirilmeli. Aydın Bey'e teşekkürler.

A converted stone house complex, great place to relax.

Un havre de paix, à quelques pas de l'Acropole...et à 20mn (en voiture) de la plage. Petit village rustique, rien de mieux pour être plongé dans la vie locale

This little oasis has in Bergama was such a nice surprise. We ended up extending our stay. The rooms are in what used to be part of a karavanserai (we slept in converted stables) and are basic but clean and comfortable. If you ask the owner to fix breakfast, you will get to taste wonderful local spreads, cheeses and pastries, and perhaps some things you would normally not get to taste. The beautiful garden was great to relax in after visiting the city and sites.

Only negative were the town’s dogs barking all night, and the muezzin seemed to have taken residence inside our room, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. But this is of course the same for all hostels in the area.
