The best part was how close the hotel is to the Hapo One slopes. Also, the people working at the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Quiet end of Happo one and a quick walk to the Sakka ski area is great for beginners.

It’s super close to a chair lift up Happo Mountain and a fantastic restaurant, The Rabbit Hole. Also close walking distance from other bus services. The Hot Pot meal was sensational! They’re very rigid with the hotel shuttle service, specifically if you’re not an “apartment resident”. It can be quite rowdy if people staying in room above. Was a bit unclean and not exactly value for money. Would suggest booking direct and packing ear plugs.

We loved the hotel and thought that the neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff were so nice!

The staff was really helpful and there was a free shuttle onsite. The room was spacious and clean.
There is also a nice onsen at the hotel. The Sakka ski lift is within walking distance. Overall great comfortable stay! Thanks to Joanie and the staff for great service and warm hospitality!

Fantastic staff and service. Shuttle was very convenient for mornings and evening dinner plans. Proximity to Happo hard to beat. Would stay again!

The location is a bit off, about 5 minutes walk up hill from the last shuttle bus stop, and the breakfast is disappointing.

We stayed here 6 years ago under different owners so we came again this season. It's a lovely hotel with lovely staff. We love the onsen.

Very helpful staff. Warm and spacious rooms. A few more breakfast option would be good. More hanging space in the room for the ski season a must.

Great location, close to all ski shuttles and the night bus. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selections daily. Overall seemless experience.

great location near the Sakka ski lift

Hotel is in a quite location. Block F of Wadano. Close to the Sakka chair (5-10 min walk) and close to Genki-Go bus stop (4-5 min walk). Hotel is new and is clean with an onsen.

Negatives are that there is little to no dinner options nearby (walking distance) so you will likely need to go into Happo town to eat - dont forget to reserve. Only other negative is the hotel seemed to have an odd noise to do with either hot water or sewage draining not sure which. The noise is enough to keep you awake.

Great place to stay, comfortable, roomy and clean.

Bit far from the main area ( shops and grocery stores) but the lodge will take you around in their own vans, alternatively you can take the shuttle bus to the slopes. Walking distance to Sakke slope and spicy rental is down the street.
