Sapa Diamond Hotel

Locating 5-10 mins walk from the very centre of the sapa town but still a variety of restaurant, souvenir shops and tourists agencies close by.
Being at the edge of the sapa town there is the breathtaking view from the balcony of the room, which I believe is what most of the visitors came to enjoy.
Room is clean and tidy with consistent hot water supply in the shower. A decent breakfast was included.

Sapa Diamond Hotel offers a basic stay with standard amenities. While the accommodation is average, its central location and friendly staff contribute to a satisfactory experience. Ideal for budget-conscious travelers looking for a convenient base to explore Sapa's breathtaking scenery. Close to restaurants and shops. 10-15mins walk to Stone Church and Sapa Plaza.

Cons: Though written pets are not allowed in the hotel. There were dog barking sound next to my room. Despite complaints to the hotel staff, barking sounds continues off and on. There were pet smell in my room as well.

However, the reception staff was accommodating and tried his best to solve the situation.

Hotel was dark at the corridor and only gets lighted with the sensor light when you pass through.

This hotel is in renovation. Do not book until those renovations are done.( I would say 2024). We were given a room that was on the top floor, had a great view, but was unfinished!!( Of course no other rooms were available)The phone was there but did not work, the internet was either weak or most of the time useless, the hot water was lukewarm at best ( and hence using only that, the pressure was definitely not there to wash my hair..), so impossible to take a bath in the beautiful tub beside the window. The pool is closed and the rooftop restaurant is non existent. Dogs bark their head off around 5am, so, with an un-finished whole in the bathroom wall above the fan, that's when your day will start.... I am a very positive person, but this, I am sorry, was unacceptable... Wait until 2024.

We were blindsided, hotel was under renovation due to expansion of new wing. We were like almost the only guests there! Place was dusty, causing some of us rashes due to allergy and triggered asthma attack for 1 of us. Stairs leading to our hotel was littered with nails and bolts, rendering them unsafe if you are travelling with elderly or children. One of our rooms had bad sewage problem, so had to endure a terrible stench. We used a whole bottle of scented room spray for our 2 nights stay. Breakfast was ample, staff were obliging and helpful. These were the only saving grace for the hotel. 7th floor was spooky due to renovations!

The staff was amazing - always trying to assist with whatever you need. The breakfast was delicious - more like a buffet with a selection of meats, breads, soups, vegetables, eggs, fruits… I visited when it was foggy but I did get a glimpse of the beautiful view from the hotel. The location is very good, only 500m or so from all the restaurants and the train to fasipan. The only negative is that the hotel is currently under renovation so there’s a draft making the room cold. I really wanted to try their spa service as well but it was closed during my stay.

Great location. Mountain view room was fantastic. The scenery is breathtaking. The breakfast was very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Many restaurants and cafés are close by. Some general maintenance is required in the room I stayed in. Rooms on 10/11 floor are being refurbished so noisy from 7am to 10pm…

The room is neat and comfortable. Staffs are friendly. The food was good and views that you have of the mountains are really beautiful. The location is good - you will get to shop for amazing shoes and nice jackets and don't forget to buy rice jewelleries in the mountains :)

A really good hotel.this was wonderful place to stay with a great breakfast and very good staff take care you. Speacially is reception. I would definitely stay there again if i return to Sapa. Recommend.

We booked the wrong date, but upon arrival the staff was flexible and able to accommodate our stay. We were even able to get a free room upgrade. The warm complimentary beverage was very nice since we came during a colder time of year.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the staffs here are very friendly. They provide Great customer service. The Welcome drinks provided are nice as well. Room are kept clean and location is near to sapa town.

Hotel has a nice mountain view. Good customer service & friendly staff. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Cos the weather is cold, they would always serve u hot apple cinnamon honey tea when u are ar the reception.

Very good location, Nice view on valley from terrace, clean and big rooms, very pleasant and helpfull staff, located in the centre, so close to shops and restaurants, no need taxi, Walking arround is most acceptable.

This hotel very new with good local. The room very beautiful with moutain view to Muong Hoa valley. Good service also staff so frendly: Thu Thai Hoi. Very thanks. If we come back sapa we choice Sapa Diamond again

We splurged out of our regular backpackers budget and rented a suite at the diamond hotel for Valentine’s Day. Right away the staff was kind and let us check in hours early! Great service, great comfort, great experience! And of course amazing views.

The hotel is new, beautifully furnished and most importantly clean. Not only that, it has an amazing view, good for not only group travel and also business trips. Remember to wear a thicker jacket as it can be very cold.
