Location was great, reception staff were excellent.

Cons:

There were issues with sewerage smells in our room, we let reception know and they moved us however the second room was just as bad so we were moved to a third room, we couldn’t use the lamps as they were shorting out. All rooms were on level 2, other guests confirmed same.

The hotel is a very convenient location with easy check in and check out services - including an after hours check in op
Pros:

The cleaning staff were friendly. Easy after hours check in and a very convenient spot. The hotel was really close to the light rail station and a short walk away from Chinatown where the is alot of nice coffee / food spots. Easy check out as well.

Cons:

The room had outdated / grimy bathroom. For example there was green limescale on the toilet flushing button and the shower head handle was peeling. The bathroom seemed outdated and needed a bit of a refurbishment I think. The room smelled weird when we walked in and there was chocolate wrappers near the base of our bed. For the amount we paid, you would want a more premium experience.

The toiletries provided were not great quality and no lid was provided in the bathroom bins which isn’t good for women who need to dispose of their sanitary pads. Luckily we had a lovely cleaner and daily servicing to get rid of this bin - but would be good to have a covered toilet bin - especially since we had a three-person room.
