Value for money, shit nights sleep. And no part refund for the inconvenience!

- Being woke at 2am outside with someone doing work in their garage (weird)
- Knock on the door at 10:30 saying check out but paid £10 extra for 1pm checkout.
- 30 minutes later someone trying to get in my room

Cons:

Ensimmäinen huone joka saatiin oli todella mielenkiintoinen, en ala luettelemaan mikä siellä ei toiminut, koska lista olisi niin pitkä. Kerron vain, et suihkusta tuli sopivan lämmintä vettä. Mutta esimerkkinä voin sanoa, et meiltä puuttui puolet kylpyhuoneen ovesta.

Did exactly what I needed it for and staff were really helpful.

It is very cheap. We expected small. Stop across the road, pub on the corner. We were only there to sleep and shower so it met our needs.

I was given Room 1 in the basement. The room had a very bad smell, and the toilet door would not close properly. The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not match the clean and comfortable room shown when I made the booking.

On top of this, I was charged an extra £10 for early check-in. Considering the poor condition of the room, I do not believe this charge was justified.

Because of the room's condition, we decided to leave immediately and booked another hotel instead, where we had a much better experience.

I booked this accommodation through Booking.com, and this experience has seriously affected my confidence in using the platform. The photos and description on the listing did not accurately represent the room we were given.

I would like to request a partial refund, including reimbursement of the £10 early check-in fee, as the room was not fit for an acceptable stay. I hope you will consider my complaint fairly and provide appropriate compensation.

Faulty Towers eat your heart out! 0/10

The receptionist that greeted us was nice.
There was a Lidl across the road.

Cons:

I kept expecting Manuel from Faulty Towers to walk in!
The photos used on the site are OLD, very old! The room looked nothing like we were expecting from them.
There is no garden area as shown in the photos, it's all rubble and old mattresses. No grass or seating area as advertised.
The blind on the bathroom window (from which you could see the main road) was broken and had slats missing - it was pointless.
Out of the 3 lamps in the room, 2 didn't have bulbs.
There was no hand towel or soap in the bathroom and the 2 bath towels that were provided were only big enough for a small child!
The tv was plugged into a socket that didn't work.
There were questionable stains/marks on the wall by the bed and by the sink in the bathroom.
There was a picture frame hanging off the wall.
Only 1 cup when 2 of us were booked to stay.
Couldn't find the hairdryer that was mentioned.
There was old, half peeled, half worn off duct tape around the window and frame that looks as if it was used as a draft excluder during the winter.
Cobwebs across the ceiling, that were old and dusty.
There was a horrible black mould type dirt in the window fittings too.

We spent as little time as possible in the room.
